At my very first appointment, I was waiting outside Jacqueline's office with another patient and the patient's mother next to me. When Jacqueline came out to collect me, the mother got up and claimed she had an appointment at the same time as me, and showed proof in a text message Jacqueline had sent her. Jacqueline proceeded to ignore that message and told the mother the appointment was never made (even though there was proof) and told her to make another appointment on a different day. Ever since that day, I detected something uneasy about Jacqueline, the ease with which she lied to people. The more I saw her, the more uneasy I became. She would consistently never have receipts to give me. She was always, ALWAYS late to my appointments (I would be waiting ten minutes at the very least). During the end, she was consistently amending times for appointments the day of, and giving reasons such as building issues and her family's health, which was a common excuse, used multiple times. Her sessions themselves were okay and somewhat helpful but she talked about herself an awful lot for a therapist. For example, she would start sessions by going on tangents about her experience, which was not pertinent to my session. She would also interject my stories with examples of things that showcase her being a "good person" on several occasions, as if she was desperate to show off the kind of person she is. She would tell me to text her if a certain event occurred and whenever I did text her, there was either no response or a very delayed response (several days) but only after I would send her multiple text messages to get the point across. She would sometimes tell me she would text me the time and date of my next appointment and I would never get a text message unless I repeatedly texted her to get an appointment. The very last time this happened, I decided to see how long it would take her to text me an appointment if I didn't contact her at all - she never texted me and that was my last appointment ever. read more
