I am writing this so what happened to me hopefully doesn't happen to anyone else. March 2025 I dropped off a wool coat for dry cleaning for the 3rd time, mentioning as always the metal grommet closure so it could be covered. The front counter clerk assured me as usual it would be protected. This last time, the coat came back with the clasp missing entirely. The coat doesn't close without it. I have since tried to get anyone at the company to help either locate the clasp, repair the coat, or start a claim on the garment ($500, bought January 2025). Every time I call or go in, I am told to call Randy the owner - no one else can help. No one else can even refund the $30 dry cleaning cost of a coat not even in my possession. I can't even get Randy's voicemail anymore - now the recording says the mailbox is full. I have tried 16 times to get anyone to contact me, and no one has. The nearly brand-new coat is still at the shop. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR CLOTHES AT ALL. read more

Brought in a dress that needed a strap sewn back on, when they did it they did not thread it through the other loops in the dress. Due to that I had to cut the decorative beads at the ends. Very disappointed, such a simply thing should not have been over looked. Will not go back. read more

In this strip of shops, there exists two dry cleaners. I chose this one. Why? Because it's green. When I asked the person up front what that means, he told me that basically they use reusable garment bags, special chemicals, and waste less resources when cleaning. I like that the alterations are done on site and not sent out. I have been very pleased with the alterations, as well as the organization of the cleaners. Prices are reasonable, and they are professionals. I love that I do not have to remember where the little tag is to pick up my clothes. Service is always friendly, and they even make efforts to remember NAMES!! This will definitely be a frequent destination in my errand route! read more

The staff was very friendly once they finally greeted me. I stood at the front counter for about 5 minutes before anyone greeted or acknowledged me. It wasn't like there weren't employees around. There was a lady behind the counter fussing with a garment and a tailor who was working with a customer. Neither gave me the "someone will be with you in a moment" or the "I see you standing there and I'll be with you in a moment" eye contact. The lady behind the counter finally greeted me and asked how she could help me. Shortly thereafter, a man (whom I presumed to be the owner) also came up and greeted me. All I needed was a button replaced on a pair of jeans. These were my daughter's favorite jeans so she asked if I would get them repaired. The employee said this could be done easily and asked if I wanted the jeans cleaned too. I agreed because it would be great if my daughter could wear the jeans as soon as I returned them to her. A few days later I picked up the jeans and they were properly repaired and cleaned. My bill, however, was $18.10. I asked how much the repairs were and they said $10. That's reasonable I guess but $8 to clean a pair of jeans? This isn't my normal cleaner and now I know the reason why. I gave Couture a chance because I saw the "alterations & repairs" sign in the window on my way to Publix. My usual dry-cleaner (which I visit weekly) is located in a less convenient location but the service is just as good and the price is less than half. It's a little out of the way in Dr. Phillips but worth the 10 minute drive for the significant savings. Sorry Couture but you had one shot at a new customer. I don't mind paying a little more for convenience but that type of pricing is customer abuse. read more

I never have to worry about them losing my clothes (which has happened to me at other cleaners) or failing to notice / remove a stain (also a problem at other cleaners) or damaging my garments (again I have had that happen to me elsewhere). They do everything on-site. Yes they are not cheap - the only consistent complaint I have seen in the few negative reviews amongst many positive - but you get what you pay for. You can find a cheaper drycleaner and risk losing your stuff or having it damaged or not properly cleaned or you can pay for an excellent job. I prefer to do the latter - much cheaper than having to replace clothing (as has happened to me at other cheaper cleaners who also refused to take responsibility so I took business to this cleaners about 10 years ago and have been very satisfied ever since !). read more

Chose this place because of great reviews and because I want a place that does their own work - not send elsewhere, but will have to look for more down-to-earth pricing. Wow, I am reading the reviews that are listed and how strange they all seem at first blush. Couture is not cheap, nor are they for the cheap. If you want your clothes to look like it cost you a $1 a shirt to get cleaned, then this is not the place. I have been using their services for at least the last 5 yrs and while I have tried other places, none have come close to the service and quality that they produce. Every time I pick up my clothes from them, they look as good as they did the first time I brought them home from the store. Are they more expensive than the dollar cleaners, well yes. I don't wear clothes from kmart anymore, and I don't want my expensive brand name clothes looking like they came from the kmart. My clothes are well cared for. They look and smell great. No funny blue dots from the chemicals. No ruined hem lines. Crisp starched shirts. Clean crisp slacks. No multiple creases in my trousers. They handle my silk, linens and wools very well. Any mistakes, or mishandled items that have ever happened, they brought it to my attention before I noticed and handled it more than to my satisfaction. If you really think you will get that kind of service and quality at a $1 cleaners, than you are fooling yourself. The old adage is true, you get what you pay for. They now have two strikes against them. My first experience was having a linen long sleeve shirt laundered. They charged me over $6. When I questioned, they told me linen shirts require extra care. Next time I took the same shirt to their competitor in the strip mall, and was charged $2.61. Now I just returned after picking up a pair of shorts I left to have lengthened. They quoted me $12 when I dropped off. They wanted $18+ at pickup. The owner finally agreed to the quoted price plus tax. Didn't know tax was allowed on services? I'm not waiting for a third strike. Absolutely the BEST in southwest Orlando. I've been coming here for about a year, dropping off bed linens, expensive clothes, and some not-so-expensive but super stained and loved clothes. I will not go anywhere else, and believe me I've had my stuff all over the Dr. Phillips/Windermere area trying to find someone that cares about cleaning. For those reviews complaining about pricing, you get what you pay for. Bedding of a teenage boy cleaned impeccably well -- not only cleaned of stains, but all smell of sweat and funk gone. They took the extra steps and attention it needed because they care about cleaning properly. Loved clothes cared for perfectly! Most dry cleaners will have you sign a waiver when they look at your pricier, treasured season favorites. (It's like an open policy to screw up your clothes). Not Couture Cleaners...this place looks at your clothes, recognizes their material, professionally assesses their needs, and takes cares of them like a pro. I recently brought in a golf shirt that was stained with something that a previous dry cleaner couldn't get out. It was my husband's favorite shirt and I was tempted to throw it away. Not only did they get the stain out effortlessly, but it was done reasonably. These people are TOP NOTCH! This establishment has an F rating on the BBB for good reason. Nothing 'couture' about this place as the name suggests. Took in some expensive suits for alterations, they did a complete hack job on them. Used black thread on white fabric lining, uneven hems, cut a hole in the fabric and had to sew it back up, etc. As if that wasn't bad enough, they added all these additional charges that was not stated upfront. Ended up paying WAY MORE than what was originally quoted and discussed. When questioned about the extra charges, he became rude and condescending. The man's name is Al. Have visited them a few times and I must say the customer service is unparalleled. The young man working the counter recognized me, by name, as I was walking towards the store and had my clothes on their way before I even walked up to the counter. The entire staff is extremely friendly, and they have done nothing but an excellent job with my clothes (which have ranged from a stained pair of pants to a three piece suit). This place is the best! I took a 50 year old quilt there, mildew stains and all, and it came out looking like new! I was worried that I would have to pitch it. Although the regular dry cleaning process didn't get it all out, they worked until it was perfectly restored! They care about whether they do a good job for you, and they go the extra mile! Complete rip off, I used to go to this cleaners and i thought he was getting expensive so moved to another, however, just last week my wife wanted all the duvet covers cleaned and i had some shirts to drop off so being close by i thought why not give them another chance. Well i went back to pick up my clothes and sheets and nearly dropped on the spot, $220 yes thats right $220 for 2 duvet covers , 8 pillow covers and 6 shirts. Well i got upset but i was in a rush so just paid the bill and left after telling them that it was a scam and they are playing the game of client pricing. Well this morning instead of the owner calling to try and calm things down, keep a client and maybe do something for me, instead he calls me telling me how dare i complain and this is the price. When i told him that he used to charge $40 for duvet and covers which i thought was expensive and now its $80 his reply was " prices go up and if you dont like it then dont come".
