8 years ago I went to see Dr Bruton for the fist time. I had heel pain and I couldn't walk for long…read moreperiods of time. He took X-rays and diagnosed me with heel spurs. He gave me shots in each foot. Set me up with insoles for my shoes. I just recently had to go back for the same pain. Great care was given. I would recommend Dr Bruton to anyone with foot pain.

Made an appointment with this doctor because I went to him years ago when his wife was in the same…read moreoffice with him which she has since retired or something but she is no longer there and when they took me back of course they have to take x-rays of your feet which they did not have to do years ago, then they put me in a room and after about 50 minutes the nurse comes by and says the doctor should be in in about 10 minutes to which I replied I will not be here in 10 minutes. Apparently she went and told Bruton and here he came talking as soon as he came in the door all about feet and what was wrong with my feet and as quick as he came in he exited and I stated "I have this toe that" and he cut me off saying I got that covered at which time a person came in and cut and ground my toenails in about a minute. He did address 1 of 3 things I went to him for which was the burning in my toes he diagnosed as Neuropathy (which he prescribe a medicine that made me drowsy for 2 days, only took one dose and quit taking that crap) but he never address anything about my ingrown toenail or spot on the bottom of my foot which was the reason of going to this guy. Apparently he or his staff think your time is not as valuable as theirs or they over book appointments, either way it goes to show they have no respect for the patient. Cancelled follow appointment with him. I WOULD NOT EVER GO BACK TO THIS GUY OR RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

My appointment was at 8:30 and right on time, Dr Buton's assistant Amanda was in the room getting…read moreready for my procedure. Dr Bruton came in and I liked him immediately. He has a great attitude and he explains everything. I'm not going to lie, I was pretty nervous. Dr Bruton got the worst part, the injections, out of the way quickly. There's no way to completely eliminate the pain from the injections but that's so fast, and the result is worth the 30 seconds of pain. Within about 10 minutes my toes were numb! Doctor made sure my toes were numb before he even started. Long story short, he did a great job, it was virtually painless, my ingrown toenails are history and I look forward to having pretty feet with no pain. I would recommend this doctor and his staff to anyone needing a podiatrist. I am 100% satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend Dr Bruton to anyone.

I held high hopes that a doctor from Abilene seeing patients in Brownwood would be the guy for me…read more Let me explain, a different podiatrist in Brownwood removed one ingrown toenail at the end of Feb and another at the beginning of March, both were botched.... My toes are worse now than before. I am in pain. So I found this place and made an appointment for 11:30, we arrived at 11:00, did all our paperwork, and we're ready for our appointment. Unfortunately the doctor was not. At 12:30 we still hadn't been seen and the doctor was in with another patient. My husband said he heard one nurse put 2 others in front of us. I guess our time isn't as valuable as others. So, he requested a refund of the copay, cancelled our appointment, and we left. Unless you enjoy being pushed to the back of the line, I'd look elsewhere for help.
