Money well spend, and I'm so glad we went on the tour. 1. The bus was on time and our tour guy was very dedicated. He explained the histories and the background stories of all the sites that we went to. & did a fantastic job. 2. The tour covered all the sites that they promised on the list. And was some small bonus when we passed by certain areas. 3. Price of the tour is very reasonable. And the bus was very comfortable. 4. The only downside I'd like to point out and this applies to any tours that you take not just this one. Since the tour company try to make their promise so everywhere we went not only you need to expect a lot of walking but also you do need to be on time which means the time to spend at each location is limited. 5. We didn't have too much time to grab something to eat in between sites. And we got back pretty late around 8 PM. so the hunger definitely hit by that time. The bus trip to Karlovy Vary (from Prague) was very pleasant. We were served lunch, and the food was good. But we waited forever for the lunch to arrive. We saw other people being waited on and leave before we got our lunch. We were concerned that we would not have enough time to see the Grandhotel Pupp (2.5 hours), so our bus group decided to go ahead and leave. Of course, that is when the dessert (ice cream was being served. The Grandhotel Pupp and the surrounding area were spectacular. When we arrived back in Prague, the host announced that we should get off the bus at a location close to the majority of the passengers. It was not anywhere near where we were picked up. A traffic jam, she said, so everyone was supposed to get off. My traveling companion told me that we should stay on the bus so they could drop us off where they picked us up. The host said that we were only 5 minutes from the street near our hotel. Both of us were not that familiar with the downtown area and many residents were not fluent in English. I ended up using my GPS on my cell phone to get back to our hotel. It was NOT 5 minutes. We got turned around a bit, but it took us nearly 25 minutes to get to our hotel. I don't enjoy giving negative reviews but when it comes to spending my money, I like to be well informed. My wife and I took the Prague to Vienna day tour- we booked through Viator and there weren't any reviews on this trip, so we decided to give it a try. The tour leaves at 8:30 AM and returns some time after 10 pm, so be aware that it is a very long day. Part of that day includes a 3.5 to 4.5 drive each way with a 30 minute stop at an outlet an hour from Vienna and an hour into the ride on the way back. Our tour ended up consisting of 3 different groups of people - Us the Americans, a French group and a Russian group - now I need to state that the other two groups did not speak a lick of English, sooooo the tour guide went back and forth between Russian, French and some form of English. Now kudos to her for being multilingual but why would you book us on a trip with one person going between 3 languages. I have to say her English was not clear and many times we didn't understand what she was saying, but she tried. So after the 4 hour drive to Vienna you will briskly walk with the guide through the square of Vienna, keep in mind you won't be able to stop and admire much because she is on a mission - her mission is to get you to the Si Si museum, I think that's what it's called. So the tickets are included but this is not where most would have chosen to go. Do note the entrance is about 12 euros per person. So she gets your there, gets the tickets and gives you around 3 hours (don't quote me, but I'm close) to get through the museum and sightsee prior to meeting the bus. Basically, you have time to walk the museum and get a meal. Then back to Prague. Another high point I should mention is the bus is supposed to drop you back to the square in Prague but if they like you they will drop you to your hotel...we apparently weren't liked because we didn't make the list, really Martin Tours I personally do not recommend this trip, if you want to go to Vienna take a train for the day and download a guide app, it's not worth the money they charge read more

Our tour guide was nice but the rest of the people who worked for the company were completely rude. My tour started off by being yelled at that I was allowed to bring my croissant on board. Keep in mind we were embarking on an early trip that consisted on a 3 hour drive (one way). They take you on one break going there to get coffee but they don't say that you aren't allowed to bring it back on the bus, they just yell at you when you do. I have been on many tours and they always allow you to have food and drink. Once we got to our destination, they rushed you. We drove three hours to get to our destination (CK) so it would have been nice to have more time to actually see it. read more

Martin Tours provides options for several tours in and around Prague (including River tours and a tour to Vienna). We chose the 2 hour city tour today. We traveled in an Open air bus and it was hot - be prepared. The total cost for two of us was approximately $32. The tour guide is via an audio file in multiple languages and gives an interesting description of each key location that you pass. The tour also stops off at the castle and they give you a 40 minute free time to self explore the castle. Fascinating. Three things can be improved on: 1) bus driver - put a smile on your face, you are in the tourism business; 2) the audio file is statistically out of date based on current events - update it guys; and 3) take your own headsets - the headphones provided are WELL used.
