From the owner: We are a small family-run campground in business since 1970 with a private sandy swimming beach and…read moreseparate boat dock for fishing and boating on Tripp Lake. It's a very quiet and safe campground, with campers coming back season after season, many for multiple generations establishing what is known as our tight knit "camp family." All 30 RV sites are at least 40' x 40' and have a fireplace, picnic table, water, sewer, and electric. Our three tent sites have water and 30amp electric; there is a portapotty at the tent site, and a bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets in very close proximity. Dump station found here as well. We also rent RVs/campers which include almost everything you need for your relaxing vacation! Activities are planned most summer weekends, and are suitable for kids and adults! Kids also have a playground area with jungle gym and horseshoes for all ages (care to join in on the tournament?). There's also a garage/rec hall with games, a fridge, oven and tables for potlucks or rainy days, and it's also where we have fun parties with dancing to our camp band's live music!

He…read moredelivered/set it up at a campground in OOB on a Monday about 6:30 pm and then came back to get it at 10 am on Friday. The camper was very clean and modern, adequate for four adults and two teen girls. It makes me laugh, though, that the "official" sleeping capacity of this trailer is 8-10 people. That would NOT be comfortable. In my opinion, the only bed that can comfortably accommodate two adults is the queen size bed. All the other sleeping spots (including the sofa, dinette and two bunks) are best for either one adult or two small children. The bunk mattresses are thin-- really best for kids even though the weight capacity of the each bunks is 300 pounds. I know that all campers use these same overly generous descriptions of sleeping capacity and don't fault Vacationland Rentals at all for their representation. Rather I just thought I would share my two cents in case it could help inform someone else's travel plans. As I said, my experience dealing with Tom was very pleasant and we will definitely call on him again if we decide more camping is in our future. (Oh, the one small suggestion I would offer is that we would have loved to have a toaster in the camper. We used the stovetop to toast bagels but it wasn't quite the same. Her many years' experience at her job made me confident with the suggestions she had that would meet my needs. She notified me of the price of the larger stabilizer prior to ordering it. It came overnight and was installed the next day. And just as important was Aaron's work in the shop. He adjusted a few things that I hadn't known needed attention and educated me on others so I felt confident with my new travel trailer. This was my first experience at Seacoast RV and I will definitely return. I felt I was treated as a valued customer and also that Aaron's work made me feel as if he was working for a family member. Above and beyond just basic service....because it's the right thing to do. Arron is the type of employee you would want who is dedicated to making things right for the customer and serving his employer well. All employees were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We have had two campers have major repairs done by Mike Jr. No major problems with the quality (except attention to details. . .) but, unless you want to be given empty promises and poor follow up, as well as frustration re: how long it takes to get the work completed, I suggest you find somewhere else to get work done on your camper. It was more than A YEAR from when the damage occurred to when the repairs were close to being completed - and when I called him out on it and expressed my frustration, I was met with hostility and anger from him. WE ended up contacting the manufacturer and getting the last piece shipped to us and installing it ourselves. So, my recommendation is IF YOU HAVE to go there for repairs, have it IN WRITING a timeline by which the work will be done and the consequences (to them) that will happen if the deadline is not met. Make our mistake your warning.

Brian gave us a good thorough walk through explaining everything we needed to know about the operation of everything - heating, fridge, stovetop, slider, beds, toilet, shower, connecting up to our vehicle, etc. He connected the camper to our truck (mechanically and electrically) and filled the water tank for us. During our trip, Brian was accessible and very responsive to any questions we had as newbies. We had a great experience using the camper - everything worked perfectly. We will definitely be repeat customers - it was a great pleasure to enjoy both an excellent product and excellent service !!

As a camper novice, I was pleased with Brian's introduction to the features of the camper, as well as his preparation with the substantial number of extras to enhance the experience. We rented a camper for Columbus Day Weekend. It was the Coachman, which looks lovely online, but…read moreis the opposite! They set up the camper as they said they would, but when we walked in, there was a stench like something died. We searched everywhere for the location of the smell and tracked it to the kitchen sink. It was horrible - it appears they never drained the gray water or deodorized the tank. We didn't cook in the camper - there were only 2 of us. We just took 2 very short showers, and the tank was full, and the bathtub backed up. We called and emailed them for assistance, and they didn't email or call us back - in fact, they never returned our call. We tried to air out the camper every day to no avail. The mattress had so much "balled up" material and pilling, you could feel it from sheets and blankets. There was dust everywhere and mold on the bathroom drain. We ended up getting very sick from sleeping in the camper. My husband had to go to urgent care to get medicine. We are fit people who take care of ourselves. Our friends also rented a nicer camper (no smell and newer). They were told the fuel was full, but they ran out within a few days. We all cooked outside, so this should not have happened. This was an unfortunate and skeevy experience. I am not a person who writes reviews but will tell you DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!
