This location is not fancy but the staff was exceedingly great. The woman who helped us offered to upgrade us and then even let us select the vehicle we wanted. We were given an almost brand new car that had all the bells and whistles you want in a modern car as well as an absolutely great in-car guidance system with a huge screen (we kind of loved it). Our friend then proceeded to ask us about our trip, where we were going with the car and she gave us a number of helpful tips and suggestions. Totally unnecessary but extremely appreciated. She and the gentleman who did the walkaround with us were both just as nice and could be. Our rental went smoothly, we returned using the key drop box as instructed and had no issues at all. Would absolutely rent from here again.

I would like to recognize Asimina, who helped me, and everything went really smoothly, easily, and hassle-free. She really gave me some great tips and reminders on driving in Holland! I was supposed to check in downstairs at first, but i didn't, and only emerald enterprise members can check in upstairs directly. However, Asimina did not turn me away, but she did explain kindly that i was supposed to check in downstairs first. She proceeded to help me, and i got my rental car very quickly! Everyone else at the office was great! I would certainly recommend renting a car from here, and I will certainly be renting from here again ! What are the…read moreadvantages? 1) Easy booking and friendly service, 2) cheaper prices (by using slightly older cars), 3) pick-up outside the terminal rather than walk into the end of the parking and 4) easy drop-off in the parking. Travelers Beware!!…read more Made a reservation and had several interactions with their agents, stating each time that I would be paying with a VISA debit card and that it wouldn't be a problem since I was not a resident of the Netherlands. Make it to the Airport and meet their agent who proceeds to inform is that this was not the case when we're at the car and says that we cannot rent from their company. Being stranded at the airport when you thought you had responsibly reserved your transportation is not fun and caution any travelers for their future needs. If this review helps one person, it has served it's purpose.

The reception area is vaguely clean: not dirty, not spotless and the furniture looks a little run down. The staff were pleasant enough and thankfully didn't try to force an upset. Europcar took TWO YEARS to notify me of a missed payment when returning a vehicle to one of their…read morerental depots in Amsterdam.It was rented and dropped off in good faith that my card details were on file and Europcar would deduct the amount. It's not the customers responsibility to ensure payment is taken correctly, the onus is on the organisation to ensure payments are processed correctly. Utterly ridiculous that it took this long. When they finally decided to get in contact, it was over email, with spelling and grammar errors, which was assumed to be a phishing email. Will not deal with Europcar again the future nor recommend their service to others.

Three hits on the windshield just would not move and we asked at the end whether we could go through another time. The staff said, no (no? my first reaction, of course), and she continued, because another round would not help, but whether we would please drive the car around to the bay area, where they would come to spray our car personally. So said, so done. Within 5 minutes someone was at our car window and, free of charge, extra hand sprayed our car till all the bird droppings and sticky tree saps were removed. Great service! And vacuuming is also included -- which you do yourself.
