Replacing tiles and repairing, cleaning, and resealing the grout on our 35-year-old tile floor was…read morea tall order, and The Grout Doctor came through for us, big-time. Joe Housenick presented the option to stain the existing grout, which couldn't be restored to its original, pristine color, of course, but we decided to defer that option for now. Nevertheless, we appreciated his professionalism and expertise and will certainly call on The Grout Doctor going forward for regular maintenance and cleaning--which we should have been doing all along, in retrospect. We definitely can recommend this contractor.

We selected Scott's based upon a number of very positive Yelp reviews...and their availability to…read morecome do our upstairs carpets and stairs leading to our basement. Randy arrived on time on 18 APR and proceeded to get to work on our carpets. And yes, we vacuumed the entire house before his arrival with our 35-year-old Kirby upright vacuum. We had him focus on the high-traffic areas of two bedrooms and one office as well as a main hallway, entrance-way, living room, family room, and the stairs to the basement. He pretreated the entire carpet with a spray and then got to work. He brought out what he called the "heavy artillery" as our carpet hasn't been cleaned really well since well before the passing of our senior Italian Greyhounds several years ago. The heavy artillery was an electric-powered rotary steam scrubber. Think of a small floor polisher with steam and vacuum! That did the trick, and after finishing, he gave the carpet a good rake to lift the pile. Note that this heavy artillery is NOT gentle to the pile, but it does clean well! Oh, and he arrived with what seemed like a brand new van and a gasoline-engine-powered steam pressure generator. It looked factory fresh! Randy took care of the stairs by hand using an attachment and took his time getting it done right. Also, this rotary scrubber leaves a more than expected amount of water in the carpet...necessitating open windows for several days to properly dry the clean carpet. Word to the wise. All in all, Five Stars for great service, a technician who really knows his stuff, was pleasant to chat with, and did all this for us for $375. We're very pleased, and we'll have Scott's back again someday--and not wait as long.

First off, let me state that I am not reviewing the Saniglaze process, but the employees of the…read morecompany at this location. I have a shower with some kind of a leak through the base (I'm still working to figure out how it is happening). I thought that perhaps the saniglaze process would fix this leak, since I'd been told the leak was through the grout, and the Saniglaze process makes the grout watertight. Bryan Hurtado from the company spoke to me, and went out to look at the shower to see if he thought it might fix the problem. He could easily have misled me to believe that there was a chance, and since the saniglaze process is a lot less expensive than replacing the whole shower, I might've gone through with it. He did not do this, and pointed out that he didn't think the holes in the grout were sufficient to cause the level of leakage I was seeing in the shower. I'm writing this review because it is refreshing to find honest people in business, and want to help others find them also. Cheers
