Jean did a great job explaining the history and events that happened on the island. We enjoyed the drive around the island.

I would say it's good but not great. Mac, our guide was knowledgeable and personable but was a…read morelittle dry in presenting it. I will give him credit too, because we encountered a lot of bad drivers and he kept his composure, when I probably wouldn't have. The tour is nice, but not something I can give 5 stars to. Nothing was necessarily wrong or bad about it, it just didn't quite pop with me. A lot of what is presented his classroom type stuff. Mileage may vary, but for me this was more a 'B' tour if we were using school grades.

I wrote a review a couple days ago and the owner responded with a nasty comment, thus proving I was…read moreright about their customer service. They also tried to say I wasn't on their tour, so I am posting proof here that it was their tour I was on for sure, (assuming I can post a photo of their email when I get done with this part.) Here is the review: "Tour was just okay. We didn't stop at things people clearly wanted to stop at and there was a lot that no one cared about. The driver (my wife said his name was Richard) was anxious to get through the tour because there was so much to see in 3 hours... I'm like, okay then let's stop at the stuff people want to take pics of and blow off the rest of this crap. He also zoomed by and barely slowed down long enough to take a photo of something other than the back of the hand of the person sitting in front of you... the hand that was still there because they didn't have time to take a pic either. The driver also talked about Obama and Clinton the ENTIRE tour. I lost count at 8 stories. (This is not an exaggeration.) (Owner denied this could be true... ask anyone else who was on this tour... and I'm sure he uses these stories consistently.) I'm not a staunch anti-dem, but this was simply ridiculous. If Obama ever comes to a sudden stop this guy's head will end up mid-colon or so. Surgery might be necessary. Anyway, I would try a different one if I were you. Tries to pack in too much." (Owner also said they never wanted me to book with them again... lol, pretty sure I wasn't going to?)

There were 13 total people in the bus on our 4 hour tour. We were on a tour bus and Harry was our driver and tour guide. We learned a lot about the area and Harry obviously knew and shared a lot of interesting and fun things from presidents who stayed there and celebrities who lived there and much much more. A couple of thoughts during the tour: One thing was that we were on main streets so Harry couldn't/didn't stop when pointing out places and views that would have made it better, at least in my opinion, if he could have. For example while pointing something out by sharing "on the left is..." it would have been great if he could have stopped for 10-15 seconds so we all could see it and take pictures if we wanted as opposed to keep driving, which he had to. On a good note Harry had a specific script to follow and after responding to questions at the first part of the tour by answering "I'll share that later" it seemed that people on our bus pretty much stopped asking questions. I think it would have been nice if he welcomed questions and shared something like "if you have any questions feel free to ask." During the tour we made a couple 15-20 minute stops for the opportunity to use the bathroom or buy souvenirs, which was nice, and one on one Harry was nice to talk to. Bottom line the tour was excellent, we learned lots about the history of the island and overall I'd say Harry was a good tour guide, I'm just sharing a couple thoughts that might have made it a way to ask questions when we had them and to stop more to take pictures and learn more of specific things.

This happened at the Gay Head lighthouse parking area. Spaces can be hard to come by but to have the bus driver just bully there way past me and take the space I was clearly signaling to enter was a real surprise. I'm sure this same poor judgement is evident throughout there business while there transporting you and your family throughout the island. There are other tours out there, pick a different one.

TLDR: Don't pay upfront if you book this company!…read more I had booked the All Star Tour company for a private bachelorette tour on May 17, 2025. Not only were we left stranded at the ferry stop for hours due to a "van issue," but the backup tour companies that were allegedly sent over never showed. My group of 9 girls was left to fend for ourselves - we ended up finding a very nice taxi driver with a van to take up around instead. I had paid the full price of $450 upfront on Venmo, and afterwards the owner Jeffrey C. refused to issue a refund, even after weeks of texting. I would absolutely not recommend this company.

BUT the backup company he promised to send didn't show and we were left stranded at the ferry dock and had to pay for a second tour. Now he won't refund my money and has stopped responding. Martha's Vineyard was beautiful and the people were great but DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY. I have found others who have been ripped off this month alone. I would give zero stars if that was an option. I want my money back, money that I saved a year for to celebrate my mom's 81st birthday. Im hoping honest reviews, a police report, a letter to the Chamber of Commerce, BBB and the MA Attorney General will do the trick.

There's a lot of interesting and good information, and I liked the people. But.... The first half of the tour is in an old mini bus. The bus has tiny windows, like 4" square, and no air circulation. No fans. No air conditioning. Today was nearly 90 out by 10 am, when our tour started, and temperatures inside the bus got so hot that stepping out felt cool! You don't travel far, and then they stop for 10 minutes to talk about what's out the window. It's brutal. Ironically, the travel distances are so slim most people could walk it. But, just sitting on the bus in the heat? Yuck. The second half is in an old shed where you learn about harvesting. Again, it could be interesting, but it's a good 10° hotter, even with the fans going, and it makes it hard to focus. Or even listen. Better weather would have helped. But, we had an old lady in our tour group nearly pass out, and the guide indicated that that was not uncommon. Heck, complimentary water would be nice. Waters are a dollar. The tour is fifteen. It's all cash only.
