I was very pleased with my experience at Doris Hamawy Family Practice. I can be a hard critic of…read moredoctors offices and the people employed by them - as I am not the biggest fan of medical offices and am rather terrified of needles. Combine that attitude with an innate crankiness when I'm not feeling at all well and the result can be much less than pleasant. I see Tabitha Dugal at the office and she is what everyone looks for when visiting a doctors office. She takes her time, she's knowledgeable, and really listens to the patient, all the while maintaining compassion coupled with a great sense of humor to keep your worries at ease. This time (and all of my subsequent appointments) was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the Tabitha Dugal and all the other employees (her Medical Assistant Eunice is wonderful) made me feel that I was in safe hands and even made me smile when I left, then you can believe they are the best. I am truly grateful and won't get that awful feeling of dread the next time I get sick and have to see my doctor. I appreciated their follow-up and willingness to answer questions also. A big thank you to all of them - Tabitha Dugal is the best out there!

Having lived all over the country and having worked at two established academic medical…read moreinstitutions, I have a different--perhaps unique--perspective of what makes for an outstanding physician. Dr. Jason Goldman is really a unicorn. By that I mean he is one of very few physicians who has a single practice with a on-site lab. You make an appointment with him, you see him, not a PA or a wannabee doctor. Compare this approach with many other practices where you're lucky if you get 5 minutes with the actual physician. Yes, he has some very strong opinions about certain aspects of medical practice and insurance and we agree to disagree. But what sets him apart from many of his peers is a keen uptodate medical intellect and truly aggressively seeking the best outcomes for his patient. There have been numerous times where I or family member have needed to see him and are always accommodated the same day. Think that happens with most other physicians? I once thanked him for fitting me in with a same day visit. I distinctly remember his response: "You don't have to thank me; you're my patient that's what I'm here for."

He called me "ignorant" and graphically told me I was "going to die on a ventilator with fluids in my lungs." To make matters worse, he made the completely unsubstantiated and cruel claim that because I have breasts, I was "definitely going to get breast cancer." This is after he asked when my last memogram was and I told him about 3 years ago. He dismissed me as a patient in a state of pure anger. No patient should be berated, insulted, or threatened with graphic death scenarios for exercising their right to medical autonomy. His behavior was unprofessional, unethical, and deeply traumatizing. Avoid this office if you value respectful care and basic human decency.

Most doctors rush you in and out and Dr. Ginter was the complete opposite. The office staff was extremely friendly and the medical assistant who handled my bloodwork was also great. They do charge $15 for bloodwork drawn in the office, but it's well worth it to not have to go to the labs. I got the results quickly and had a prescription phoned in right away as promised. It was a great experience and I'm so happy I finally found a doctor I can be happy with.

It's a small office and Dr. Wong is the only attending physician. They got a small office but the staff is friendly. Dr. Wong seemed nice. Because this our first visit, Dr. Wong asked a lot of questions. However, some of those questions sound weird and maybe a bit personal. When it comes to doing our blood work, they took two attempts to get the needle in me. I had blood work done by my last doctor and never had any issues. Unfortunately, my wife was not so lucky. They must have stuck needles in my wife's hands and arms in 6 different spots and still couldn't manage to draw any blood out. We ended up getting the blood work done at Quest near our house. We also had some other tests done but they never call us back with the results. A few days later I got mine back but they couldn't find my wife's.
