Combine that attitude with an innate crankiness when I'm not feeling at all well and the result can be much less than pleasant. I see Tabitha Dugal at the office and she is what everyone looks for when visiting a doctors office. She takes her time, she's knowledgeable, and really listens to the patient, all the while maintaining compassion coupled with a great sense of humor to keep your worries at ease. This time (and all of my subsequent appointments) was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the Tabitha Dugal and all the other employees (her Medical Assistant Eunice is wonderful) made me feel that I was in safe hands and even made me smile when I left, then you can believe they are the best. I am truly grateful and won't get that awful feeling of dread the next time I get sick and have to see my doctor. I appreciated their follow-up and willingness to answer questions also. How much sleep do you get? How often do you exercise?" It's nice to have this dialogue with my primary physician. I'm also quite satisfied with his staff; they always pick up the phone, great with getting back to you about refilling prescriptions, answering questions. A pleasant change from most other offices. Lastly, his office runs like a clock. When you have a 10:30 appointment you are seen on time. I have never waited more than 5 minutes from my appointment. In response, the doctor became hostile and called me an "a--hole," saying I was disrespectful for not providing a reason for my decision. I was calm and did not raise my voice at any point. Instead of maintaining a professional conversation, he repeatedly talked about how he was the best doctor I could find and emphasized his credentials and involvement on vaccine-related boards. As the appointment ended, he announced to his staff, within my hearing, "another antivaxxer out the door." Regardless of anyone's medical opinions, this behavior was unprofessional, humiliating, and completely inappropriate. Patients should not be insulted, labeled, or publicly mocked by their physician. I truly did not expect this level of hostility from a medical professional.

I got moved up because of a cancellation which was great. Now I know why she only sees a few new patients per day. She spent so much time with me addressing every need and concern. Most doctors rush you in and out and Dr. Ginter was the complete opposite. The office staff was extremely friendly and the medical assistant who handled my bloodwork was also great. They do charge $15 for bloodwork drawn in the office, but it's well worth it to not have to go to the labs. I got the results quickly and had a prescription phoned in right away as promised. Because this our first visit, Dr. Wong asked a lot of questions. However, some of those questions sound weird and maybe a bit personal. When it comes to doing our blood work, they took two attempts to get the needle in me. I had blood work done by my last doctor and never had any issues. Unfortunately, my wife was not so lucky. They must have stuck needles in my wife's hands and arms in 6 different spots and still couldn't manage to draw any blood out. We ended up getting the blood work done at Quest near our house. We also had some other tests done but they never call us back with the results. A few days later I got mine back but they couldn't find my wife's. I continue to find Dr. Shookoff to be a very caring and very capable Allergist. She has been absolutely amazing with me. She takes a personal interest in her patients, and she also has a wonderful Staff. It really isn't easy to find a GREAT DOCTOR who also has a GREAT STAFF. Anyone who suffers from Allergies will find Dr. Charlene Shookoff to be extremely helpful. She, in my opinion, is the VERY BEST.
