They're smooth enough to enjoy on their own, yet expressive enough to elevate a cocktail with depth and character. But Vetus is about so much more than what's in the glass. The distillery itself feels warm and inviting the moment you step inside--a beautiful open space with a cultural, welcoming vibe that would make an incredible setting for a party or private event. Their cocktails, made with their own brandies and vodka, are absolutely delicious and thoughtfully crafted. Outside, the fire pit becomes a glowing centerpiece, its flickering flames casting a cozy warmth into the cool evening air. Sitting around it, drink in hand, makes for a perfect, relaxed experience that you'll want to linger over. They also now offer off-premise catering, bringing their spirits and experience directly to your event--an amazing option for gatherings and celebrations. What really makes the experience, though, are the owners. Their warmth and hospitality are genuine, and you can feel the passion and care they've poured into every detail--from the spirits they craft to the welcoming atmosphere they've created. You don't just feel like a customer--you feel truly welcomed. And if you don't live nearby, they ship to many states, so you can still enjoy their brandies at home. A wonderful Monroe discovery and absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!

First visit to Harris Teeter on Morrison Boulevard, and honestly, this place is massive…read more I made the trip for one reason and one reason only: Sumo mandarins. The internet told me they were in stock. The internet lied. No Sumos. Tragic. Still, this ended up being one of the nicest Harris Teeters I have visited in Charlotte. Beautiful layout. Super clean. Huge aisles. Plenty of parking. They even have a covered grocery pickup area and staff helping customers load groceries into their cars, which feels delightfully old-school these days. I wandered around way longer than I planned because this store just keeps going. Pharmacy, hot bar, prepared foods, giant self-checkout area, demos happening in-store, clearance sections, everything. At one point somebody was carving what looked like prime rib or rib roast and it smelled incredible. Ended up leaving with Memorial Day supplies instead. Hot dogs, rye bread, bread and butter pickles, cookies, and some buy-one-get-one frozen double-fried shrimp that air fryer people already know is dangerous behavior. I also grabbed some Halo mandarins to soften the emotional blow of the missing Sumos. One thing I really liked: a lot of the fruit was kept in refrigerated cases. Smart move for freshness and probably helps keep fruit flies and gnats under control during the Carolina heat. Coming from Northern California, where citrus practically appears year-round without effort, I am still adjusting to Southeast produce seasons. Apparently Sumo season is basically over here already, so lesson learned. Even without the Sumos, this store was worth the trip. If you are in the SouthPark area and enjoy grocery stores the way some people enjoy museums, this Harris Teeter is an experience. Life is too short to not eat well, Charlotte. Go explore your grocery stores too.

We purchased 4 of the 4 packs in those shots and then they also had singles for sale as well so we got a few of those. The employee who helped us was and older gentleman but not the same as in the phone. He was fairly nice and pleasant as he helped us track down those shots we called about. Overall it was a pleasant experience at this store and though I probably won't ever be back in the area again, I would recommend it to anyone who was looking to buy some spirit's near by.
