This is one of my favorite Harris Teeter locations. If I'm running errands and happen to be in South Park, I'm usually going to stop by & look for deals. I stopped by after I left the mall last night, 11-19. This is one of the deals I found. As a McCormick fan, I was happy to take this home.

Harris Teeter Morrcroft or better known as the Tai-Ma-Teeter is a Southpark staple. it's been here for decades and was the largest HT at one time. I've been coming here for years and it's still my favorite Teeter in the whole city. This Teeter offers all the Harris Teeter amenities: sub station, pizza bar, salad bar, sushi station, Hot bar, sit down wine area, order and pick up grocery service and Starbucks. A lot of the employees has been here for years and it gives the store a real small town feel. I would strongly suggest you sign up for the E-Vic program. They are always giving away free stuff!!! They are also normally very busy during lunch time and right after work like 5pmish. But I will say they normally have most of their checkout lines open and they have about 8+ self checkout stations. This store is always super clean. I believe they have an outside sanitation staff. This store recently did a floor move so things are in different locatitons on the aisles than I'm use to.

I love this Harris Teeter! It's so close to home -- right next to the abc store. * They always have wine vendors on site. * Nice place to eat pizza & have a glass of wine! Sandwich specials M-F. * Steak dinner on Thursdays.

    Spring is coming !

Always well stocked. Great prices and service. Their meat especially steaks are on par with the higher end stores.

Beware of the rude and belligerent young employee who monitors the self-check out consoles on weekdays.

There's a real sense of history here. From what I understand, Reid's is one of the oldest grocers in Charlotte, and that legacy shows in the details. The rich green tile, classic signage, and thoughtfully designed layout create an elevated, almost European-style market experience. It feels polished, intentional, and welcoming all at once. What stands out: * The store is beautifully merchandised and carefully curated with specialty and seasonal items you don't always find elsewhere. * The wine bar and café concept make this more than a grocery stop--it's a place to linger. I've enjoyed flights, tastings, and brunch on the patio, and each visit has felt like a small occasion. * Location-wise, it really depends on which store you're visiting. The SouthPark and Myers Park locations have easy, convenient parking, and there's also a newer location in Ballantyne (near Pineville). The Uptown locations, while not necessarily "easy parking," are incredibly walkable--perfect if you live, work, or have meetings nearby. If you're already Uptown, this is a fantastic stop to pick up elevated items for a beautiful dinner--think wine, specialty cheeses, or even something indulgent like caviar to round things out. One thing I appreciate is that Reid's doesn't try to be everything to everyone. It's not an organic-focused market like Whole Foods, and that's okay--it serves a different purpose. The clientele here tends to be people looking for specialty ingredients, elevated prepared foods, and a more curated shopping experience. Many shoppers probably visit both stores depending on their needs, and I find myself doing the same. When Reid's really shines: During the holidays and special seasons. Their selection of unique, festive, and hard-to-find items makes it a go-to for entertaining or finding something a little extra special. Overall, Reid's feels like a true Charlotte institution--elegant, distinctive, and consistently well executed. It's the kind of place that makes grocery shopping feel enjoyable again, and I'm looking forward to continuing to explore more of what they offer as I keep eating my way through Charlotte. Bottom line: A beautifully curated local market with history, charm, and a destination-worthy wine bar--perfect for specialty shopping, brunch, and seasonal finds.

They have both free and paid tastings. Keep an eye out for their free ones each day so you can sample a few of their featured wines, or the paid tastings that give you much more of a in depth background of wine. I love that they have a wonderful selection of all different priced wines so you find a great bottle at an affordable price. Each time I ask for help they are very friendly and I never feel silly asking basic questions. If you're buying for a specific person or a certain occasion make sure to ask for their recommendation and they won't disappoint.
