If you have the patience and the fortitude to maneuver the crowded aisles, it is highly likely you'll find something worth purchasing. I routinely scan the sale flyers delivered in our local paper, and if something I need is featured, I'll make a special trip to Belk. Most recently, there was a half price sale on mattress pads, and I needed a new king-sized one for a guest bedroom. Getting a high quality king mattress pad for under $40 is a great deal in my world. Customer service is generally good, although it helps to be prepared for a bit of a wait at the register, especially if there's a glitch in their computer system. (It happens more often than you'd think.)

On the inside this is a massive Walmart. It's fairly clean but you know it's like Walmart clean. It's clean but not the cleanest. We were able to find everything we needed, and while walking around the store was well stocked. The checkout lines are short and move fast, which you know isn't always the case with Walmart. Overall pretty good experience, but it's nothing special. 4 stars here.

The great thing is the prices are equal or much better than WalMart. The WalMart in Shallotte, NC is always packed with some "interesting" characters.
