I want to give this a zero rating but I will give it 1 for overall cleanliness and design…read more However, I have worked in retail before many times, and I'm really big on customer service...like welcoming the customer and making sure the customer is doing okay etc. My bf and I were literally the only 2 in the store on Tuesday of this week. There were THREE sales associates working...or should I say standing around talking to each other very loudly i might add. Not ONE of them said anything to me the whole time we were in the store, which was about 10 to 15 minutes. I know they saw me. Not a hello, welcome in, can I help you find anything, NOTHING. It was so rude and horrible customer service. Torrid is very overpriced, so if you have customers in the store, how about trying to make it a good experience. They didnt even say bye when we left. Keep in mind, I have worked for two other big retailers with a way bigger and busier client base, and I still manage to help as many customers as I can. So disappointing.

I was surprised last time when I supplied my own bags at checkout the checker scanned all of my items but I had to bag my own things. I'm not sure if that is the norm or if just the way she did things but that's something to be aware of because not everyone wants to bag their own items or can bag their own items. I will say that since their last major remodel I don't think they carry as many items or they may carry more brands but less of each item within that brand. The first time I noticed this was in the hair color aisle, they had several brands but the one I was looking at was missing the entire blonde selections. That was something they carried before the remodel. I will take that with a grain of salt though because there are supply issues still happening but I would think that they would have something after all this time. I highly suggest that everyone download the Target app because if you do want to take the time to add offers you can save quite a bit of money. I wish they would work like some supermarket royalty cards where each week the discounts were just loaded in automatically and if you bought that product you would get the cash back Instead of having to choose the offer and add it to your barcode before you buy. Sometimes scanning the barcodes of every item before you put them in the cart is just taking too much time and if you haven't planned ahead you may not have all of the discounts available loaded onto your app already but again if you can take a few minutes to load the offers in before or during your shopping it really adds up. Curbside pick up is also a plus and it seems to be very popular. Sometimes I think the people out there working are working harder than most of the inside employees. Maybe it just seems that way because I feel sorry for them being out there in this heat but they have always been very pleasant and efficient to work with and I do appreciate that they have this service available. I did rate four stars because of the availability of some of the things in the store not being what they should be and I have had a couple of times where produce such as the bagged salads weren't the freshest, but this will continue to be my favorite store of this type.

They have quality items, some European, and when I was evacuated my mom told me to go get myself and my husband some shoes with the explicit requirement I go to Brown's because they have a variety of quality footwear. So sweet! I bought two pairs of leather shoes. All leather brown clogs, camel colored with visible silver rivets (? Maybe nails). And a gorgeous pair of black Italian leather heels that are low height and perfect for work. My husband got a pair of Hoka sneaks that he's been wearing non stop since purchasing and a great looking pair of dress shoes with rubber soles; he's often complained his Italian soled shoes are too stiff so we're psyched for these! They actually had a big selection of men's dressy sneakers. I think this is a trend that is here to stay. Admittedly Brown's shoe selection can appear dowdy upon first glance because many of the shoes are for comfort but you've got to give them a try and browse because they have an excellent selection of quality shoes and amidst the practical footwear are special items with style. Also, of the brands featured have been around since the 1800's. Love the legacy and heritage as it shows in the quality. I've never had poor service here. Not once. They always accommodate my request to try a number of shoes and/or sizes. I feel attended to here. Don't pass them by and shop local at Brown's!

When we came the next day to get the correct size, corporate policy and a total lack of customer services intervened and we got the hammer. Will not be treated in such a manner or ripped off because "it's our policy." We also had added an account to get a $10 off coupon and applied it to a pair of Uggs that they talked us into saying they would "stretch," because they didn't have our daughters size. When we came to exchange the next day because they were too tight, they snatched our reward away. We are beside ourselves. Never ever again.

I was specifically looking for a wallet for my vintage Coach shoulder bag. I finally found one! I stood in line, there was one person in front of me and one person at the register. Unfortunately there was only 1 associate working the register. I found this odd as there were a handful of associates working on the floor and the store was not busy. Finally an associate came up to the register and helped the person in front of me. The other customer was having an item wrapped, the reason for the long wait. Then when the associate was done ringing the person up that was in front of me, she looked at me then left and went back to the front entrance to talk to the security guard that was stationed there. So I continued to wait, while someone is having their item wrapped and wondering why the associate did not help me. There wasn't anyone behind me. I should have just left but I had been waiting for 6 months to make this special purchase. Finally a different associate came to the register and checked me out. She asked if anyone helped me-told her "No" as this was the truth. I have shopped at the Coach Outlet store numerous times in Ontario, CA and have received outstanding customer service at that location. This was the most disappointing experience ever. I felt the associate that rang up the customer standing in line front of me was just too busy conversing with the security guard. Angelette White did reach out to me on 2/18, after I completed their store survey. I did respond on 2/24 to their email, letting them know when to call me but I have yet to receive that call.
