All the friendly faces make it a trip to look forward to. It didn't take long for us to identify with a few folks here, not to mention how quickly they've taken to us. This Gliks is located right next to the pier/bridge in downtown Charlevoix, so it's super easy to access from/to the Charlevoix lighthouse and basically within walking distance of everything in this area! The selection is wonderful, the staff were so friendly, this time I picked up a Carhartt hat (that I've never seen anywhere else) and a couple pairs of Goodr sunglasses (that I also have never seen elsewhere!!). Filled out a silly paper and received a pink paper along with the receipt for purchase. When I went to pick the chair up they asked for the pink paper. I didn't have it with me but showed them a photo of the Home Depot credit card transaction. She said she couldn't release the chair to me because I didn't have the receipt. I said but you will today. The cashier from the night before remembered me and vouched for me. Janet was very rude. I told her that I'm a great customer and not to pi$$ me off. She huffed. The chair didn't fit in my vehicle so we left to get a bigger truck. Upon arrival I told them that I was back. They called for yet another manager who was also very sour. The ladies from the floor loaded my chair while I waited what seemed like forever for my receipt. The clerk handed the receipt as the manager walked away. I stopped her and said. Your welcome. She said what. I said you didn't even say thank you for my $650 purchase. She said are you upset about something? I said you'll get my review. Might I add the employees don't look very happy and no one even looked up to acknowledge our presence. This was the second day at the store. I went to another store and purchased $1200. How excited I was to have a new store where I just purchased a new home to furnish. I will not be back or purchase from this store in Petoskey, MI location

This review only reflects my experience with the custom picture frame employee that was there 11/8…read moreat 10 am. She started by scolding us for not using the bell for getting her attention. Mind you this is after we had inquired at the front cashier about the possibility for talking to someone about frames. Which we were told to give her about "8 minutes" to get ready as she just got in. Which was super ok, nobody was in a rush. Back to being scolded when she noticed my wife and I standing there patiently, giving her a few more minutes to get ready for the day that the horrible treatment began. From that moment forward, my wife and I appeared to be a complete inconvenience to her morning and she literally offered no help at all. And to top it off, as my wife and i started walking away after realizing we were not going to receive any help, she started laughing at us. WOW. I sincerely hope this person does not accurately reflect how their other employees handle their customers. Bad, bad experience.
