Stores like Anthropologie, lululemon athletica, White House | Black Market, francesca's, etc. It's small, though, so the store selection isn't extensive. There's also two restaurants -- the Brontë Bistro in the bookstore, and Palmers, which, from my wanderings, looked like it was also kind of connected to the lower level of the bookstore. On another note, the scenery is kind of lovely here. There's a pond with ducks in the back of the shopping center that provides a calming retreat from shopping. Palmers' patio is next to the pond, as well. The front of the mall is also very pleasing, with many places to sit and eat/read/chat/write/whatever. Not a bad outdoor mall, but I'll probably only return just for Whole Foods and Joseph Beth Bookstore (which is amazing, by the way).

And a Members Mark shredder with the attached trash can for $60. I thought these were pretty good deals. I usually go to Sam's once a month for supplies that end up lasting me for several months. Sam's still does a pretty good job keeping everything in stock during these scarcity of times. The roofs over the shopping basket returns are the first I've seen.

The team lead help the young lady to return my money. I had one item, I didn't have the receipt and was given in-store credit (ok, cool), but after using the credit voucher, I owed an additional $1.06. So I gave the you lady a TWENTY and 06 cents. She in return did not give me my $19.00. I advised he and she seemed very lost that she owed this to me. So, DANIEL, I assume was the manager came up and when I tell you this man was beyond RUDE is an under statement. He was very mouthy and just acting as if I was trying to scam them. I even told him to pull her drawer and count it. He said NO, and basically threw the $19 in my hand. It truly bothers me that ALL them managers at the Nicholasville Rd store is like this, especially the lady during the day and Ms. Sudie is horrible as well. It saddens me to know we only have 1 TJ Maxx in Lexington, it's beginning to look like driving to Frankfort or Winchester is going to be the new norm. At least they are friendly.

It was a cheaper version of TJ Maxx/Marshalls and Ross Dress for Less. Now, the majority of the merchandise is Amazon returns. I've even seen knockoff items. We used to have fun shopping at Gabe's. We'd find college and university apparel. Seriously, look through my old photos that I previously shared. Now, nothing, Gabe's, why change what worked? Why does it feel like Goodwill is more organized? Each visit worsens, and few shoppers or cars are in the lot. Finally, I've noticed the same response from Gabe's repeatedly with reviews on Yelp and another site. The bottom line is that "sharing our reviews to improve our shopping experience in the future" isn't worth a grain of salt if you don't fix the problem.

I recently purchased two sofas from this store, expecting brand-new, high-quality furniture…read more Unfortunately, one of the sofas was delivered with a clear discoloration defect. When I raised the issue, I requested a reasonable solution--either a partial discount or store credit. Instead of addressing the problem professionally, the delivery team offered a bottle of cleaner to "fix" the issue themselves. I declined, as I paid for a new sofa, not something that requires cleaning upon arrival. What followed was even more disappointing. I asked to speak with a manager, and the delivery driver contacted someone named Jacob, who was identified as the store manager. The driver clearly informed Jacob that he was on speaker and that I, the customer, could hear the conversation. Despite that, Jacob responded in an extremely unprofessional manner--raising his voice, refusing to speak with me, and stating that I was "wasting his time." This level of disrespect toward a paying customer is completely unacceptable, especially from someone in a managerial position. This experience reflects poorly not only on customer service, but also on the company's accountability and quality control. Selling defective items is one issue--but refusing to resolve it respectfully and professionally is far worse. I strongly urge the company to address both their product quality standards and the behavior of their management team. Customers deserve to be treated with basic respect, especially when legitimate concerns are raised.
