So if you want to avoid the mall, head down a few miles until you spot this Kohl's on the right hand side, in the same area as Sam's Club. During the holidays, the exit area was very congested because the light to turn back on to Nicholasville Road doesn't turn as often as it should, considering that the volume of cars is drastically different than normal shopping months, the county or whoever in charge of the stop light rotation should help out with this issue. It really was "that bad". I usually buy my dress clothes here. The fitting room is pretty convenient. I like that they don't hassle you by counting the items as you go in, that's always so annoying when a place does that. My mom has a Kohl's credit card and they are always sending her a ton of coupons. Whenever I go, I check on their website to see if they have the scannable ecoupons and they usually do. This past weekend, the website had a 25% off coupon for in store and online purchases. Heck yeah! Then I received Kohl's cash which is $10 certificates for every $50 that I spend. The only thing that I hate about the Kohl's cash is that you only have a week long window to use them and I usually letting them expire.

It even has a full cereal bar. Wow!  It is centrally located in a shopping plaza with plenty of free parking, friendly staff and clean and comfortable common areas. We were looking for a dress for my wife and a dress shirt for me. We found a quality Wrangler western shirt with pearl snaps for me, but the clothing selections for women were a bit light. It is fair critique, but in their defense, the name of the business is not Western Wear, it is The Boot Store. After striking out, we left for another store to find a dress. We found one at another location. Upon finding the dress, we needed boots to match. My wife has extremely wide feet, which has always defeated her in finding cute cowgirl boots. Realizing we were now in the hunt for boots, we returned to The Boot Store. They had no boots my wife's size in stock. This is not a strike against them. Many companies don't make D width cowboy boots. Even fewer carry that inventory. Nevertheless, the same young lady who had helped us previously returned to our side to help. She measured my wife's foot and helped her determine exactly what type of boot we were looking for. We did find one pair that would have worked, but they were a high end boot and beyond our price range. Prices vary from very cheap to very expensive and everywhere in between. For the average western boot wearer, male or female I can't think of a better place to find western footwear. This is a destination location for all things western. Hats, belts, buckles, western shirts, and boots, boot and more boots! Every type and sort and color you can imagine. My wife used the women's room while she was there and the toilet was clogged. Eh, these things happen. If there was a negative that was probably it. Parking is ample. The business is on a busy thorofare. Getting out can be a challenge at peak traffic times. Overall, a five star experience for us.

Their shirts are super soft and comfortable (usually $20-25 each). Currently, they're also offering famous Kentucky derby winners horse poop for sale which I find hilarious.
