But after looking for may fifteen minutes, we were able to locate a Christmassy outfit for my niece: leggings with sparkles and a Christmas shirt. The shirt had to come from a pajama set. Target didn't have much for holiday wear. Anyway, we got what we needed for the 2nd grader and found a Christmas sweater for the 6th Fraser somewhere else. Shopping done! Sighs all around.

Leaves me wondering if Ross could put a no tolerance policy out there that ejected people from the store whose kids run wild or who are caught putting a half opened box of wine glasses on the shoe area. Ipod docks, handsome ties, seasonal decoration, candles, ottomans, purses. Shower curtains, duvets, mattress toppers, rugs, shower caddies, kids toys, and menswear. You really can find something for just about anyone in Ross. The downside to Ross is often that people run around in a frenzy, tearing things off shelves, kids with no manners, terrible music playing, etc. This Ross was one of "those" Ross-es. And while I'd like to give it a thumbs up for having what I needed, it was so badly kept that I just can't. Also, I wanted to tear my eyes out and run out of there screaming during what's got to be one of the worst musical playlists in history.

The deli and bakery sections were well stocked. The meat section had good looking meats (though I'm still sticker shocked at the price of beef). During this visit the shelves for eggs were mostly barren... reminiscent of late 2024. There were no 18 count cartons - only large eggs by the dozen or by flat carton. ...and not many of those. Checkout lines with a cashier were long, so I went through the self checkout line. They have a few that have converter belts for those with larger amounts of groceries. I'm not fast, but I'm accurate, and eventually made it through. Most Walmart Supercenters are about the same, but they can vary on what particular products are offered and the store layout. This Walmart carries a particular item my regular Walmart does not carry, so I trekked across town to this one with my list. I found most of what I needed, but discovered they did not carry another two essentials on my list. I ended up having to shop at two different Walmarts to find everything I needed. I am not complaining. I remember life before Walmart and shopping for hours at several different stores to find half as much. It's still a great store ... people feel so at home some come dressed in their pajamas or less.
