I would say this is just like any other Big Lots you go in but, it has its differences. It is…read morelocated on Dixie Hwy across from Dixie Manor Shopping Center but, hidden behind Chick Fil A. This one is in a newer building vs. others being in very old buildings. And if you can't find something in the other Department stores you may very well find it here. I didn't do any shopping on this visit (which means I had no employee interaction), I was just checking out the place and killing time before meeting with family for lunch. I do plan on returning when I'm feeling spontaneous and want to find something I can't anywhere else.

When you shop at Ross stores you aren't there for fancy decor, amazing service or even organized…read moredisplays. You come to Ross to find great deal, these deals are usually cheaper than Marshall's and TJ Maxx. They also are somewhat limited to the brands they carry and the variety of sizes. I have bought shoes, bathroom decor, kids clothes and dresses. Be careful with clearance clothes, make sure items are not stained or damaged. If You are willing to dig for a gem, you may find one. This Ross store is way better than other Ross stores. This one does not have clothes in the floor and items just pitched everywhere. They also sell luggage and jewelry too. Great to save on men's and kids underwear and socks. Shoes are limited but usually name brand every once in a while. Value over experience.

I didn't find the Oreos, but I did get wrapped up in a story about Monica and Chandler from Friends potentially getting together in real life (those darn magazines!) I also went looking for cherry-flavored Carmex. They only had the one that came in a variety pack of three- I believe the other two flavors were strawberry and peppermint. My preference is for cherry by itself, thus I went without purchasing any this time around. I wasn't greeted by a Wal-Mart employee but that's likely because the opportunity didn't present itself.
