This particular one is located in okolona neighborhood adjacent to the rear of the Jefferson mall in its own separate parking lot and building. I've come to this target more times then I care to count over the years. For those unfamiliar with target they are a department store in the same vein as say a wal mart. Except they are a bit more classy with there setups and take a bit more pride in there stores and serving there customer base . Targets have pretty good sales form time to time and my wife and daughters like every red blooded woman in North America appear to love shopping here. I've joked for years that if I was a single guy I wouldn't go to clubs and bars to meet women. Just go to the local target. This target is very well upkept with stock and cleanliness. There workers are usually available and helpful and they process there lines pretty quickly. They have a little food mart area that anytime my wife mentions going to target my pre teen perks up and is like "we getting the target popcorn?" Evidently Thai target marketplace has good popcorn. Overall a pretty nice department store. I do prefer targets over wal mart when it comes to department store shopping aspect. They do a fine job here.

What if instead of making my pancakes more cake-like, I just got a pancake cake? Meijer solved my dilemma by offering this cake at my local store. Though it creates the new dilemma of, should it be called a pancake cake or pan-cake? Joking aside, it is a white cake covered in copious amounts of vanilla buttercream frosting. I had been debating picking one up for a while, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity when I spied it on sale for a measly $6! Cutting into the cake revealed that there's also a layer of frosting separating the top and bottom portions of the cake. Starting with the "syrup", which is piping/frosting gel, it adds an interesting texture to the cake, but sadly no maple flavor. To be fair, maple flavor was not advertised nor expected, but it would have been a unique touch. I found the white cake to be relatively average as it was not quite as moist as some of the better cakes I've encountered. Lastly is the delectable vanilla buttercream frosting. It reminds me of a line from one of my favorite movies (Star Wars). "He's more machine than man", except in this case, it's the cake is more frosting than cake. It's thick, creamy, rich, and oh so sweet. The artistry of this cake was phenomenal, but the body of the cake falls short of something I'd get from Nothing Bundt Cakes. So the decor and design of this wal mart is sleek and nice with that new feel to it. However the good stops there. They very rarely have anything in stock and the workers here are lazy and unmotivated. Lines move slow and the workers won't acknowledge you. I'll tell myself thanks and you're welcome sarcastically every-time I get the silent treatment. The clientele here is to put it nicely "rough". Lots of riff raff and crime happen here. Seems like the local news is always talking of robberies, child abductions and even murders at this location. So that's always fun. A long time ago there was a wal mart at this location across from the mall. It was dirty and smaller but I loved it. Because nobody went here and they had stock on everything. They since ripped that down and left for about 5-10 years and then they built This new one. Which is nice and big. But the service, stock, people and workers all here make this location a "only come here as an absolute last resort" type situation. Overall I would recommend not coming to this location. There are 3 wal Marts well within ten miles of this location that have a smidge better service and definetly better stock.

Dressing rooms were free of cluter and accessible. Overall, an easy experience and I was able to use some of my credit on new dresses.

Kohls on a whole hour can find amazing deals on great brands. However when a sale isn't being ran it can get pricey. But there sales are frequent and great. One of the new perks Kohl's and this location has added that I love is the return an Amazon product in store and they handle all the shipping for you. That's a great and smart partnership with Amazon. Makes it another and easier for customers. Overall this is a nice location.
