What if instead of making my pancakes more cake-like, I just got a pancake cake? Meijer solved my dilemma by offering this cake at my local store. Though it creates the new dilemma of, should it be called a pancake cake or pan-cake? Joking aside, it is a white cake covered in copious amounts of vanilla buttercream frosting. I had been debating picking one up for a while, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity when I spied it on sale for a measly $6! Cutting into the cake revealed that there's also a layer of frosting separating the top and bottom portions of the cake. Starting with the "syrup", which is piping/frosting gel, it adds an interesting texture to the cake, but sadly no maple flavor. To be fair, maple flavor was not advertised nor expected, but it would have been a unique touch. I found the white cake to be relatively average as it was not quite as moist as some of the better cakes I've encountered. Lastly is the delectable vanilla buttercream frosting. It reminds me of a line from one of my favorite movies (Star Wars). "He's more machine than man", except in this case, it's the cake is more frosting than cake. It's thick, creamy, rich, and oh so sweet. The artistry of this cake was phenomenal, but the body of the cake falls short of something I'd get from Nothing Bundt Cakes. The floors need sweeping and they should get more people on the register, the selection here is a hit or miss. I've found decent items on several occasions but it's not worth the hunt. The store is a mess and it never looks organized. They do have a decent selection of home items and shoes from time to time but other than that, it's not much at this location that I can recommend.

Dilliards and Jc penny are some of the anchor stores. I saw a new barber shop and candy shop as some of the new tenants. Both of them were appealing and tempting to try. They also have a new video game shop , Round 1, that I reviewed a few months ago as well. It has a bowling ally in it as well. The LensCrafters staff was friendly and easy to work with. The eye doctor did a thorough job checking my eyes and my vision improved. The only issue was the apprentice sales person who didn't give 50% off that my wife got on my frames and didn't add the extras that I asked for several times. I got to call them tomorrow to get that fixed. The mall has improved and that a positive. If it been awhile since you dropped by, give it a another shot.

But Carla, at the return desk was super efficient, pleasant and professional and had a credit posted to my account within 2 minutes, using information from my emails. We shopped (to use some of that credit since I had already paid the bill) and a clerk in rhe store was also super friendly and helpful inquiring if we needed help. Dressing rooms were free of cluter and accessible. Overall, an easy experience and I was able to use some of my credit on new dresses.

If your not familiar with kohl's they are a department store that sells clothing, toys, home appliances, shoes, and etc. they run great sales frequently and really have a great rewards program for there valued customers. Kohls on a whole hour can find amazing deals on great brands. However when a sale isn't being ran it can get pricey. But there sales are frequent and great. One of the new perks Kohl's and this location has added that I love is the return an Amazon product in store and they handle all the shipping for you. That's a great and smart partnership with Amazon. Makes it another and easier for customers. Overall this is a nice location. They do a good job of keeping it stocked and clean and the workers here are usually friendly.

When I did this the offer code did not appear in my email and the cashier refused to honor the 15% off. The cashier saw where the account was set up correctly and only said " hmm that's weird I'm only sure why it's not there" and still did not rectify the situation. When I asked if a manager could over ride the transaction and apply the discount the cashier told me no. This was poor customer service and a waste of my time. This was not a great experience.
