No suprise from the problems I've had up front with management…read more I went to get a oil change today hours before close. 5 "techs" standing around the shop. I was told to go in and they could get me a oil change. A very rude staff member named Rick informed me if I didn't book a appointment they wouldn't see me. And I told him I didn't mind waiting, even though the shop was empty. I just dont understand how the staff at this location can think it's okay to talk to customers the way they do. I stuck around for hour. No cars were brought in. You'll see the rating and the reviews, and think it can't be that bad. But it is.

He was very upset that he actually had to his job. As Brian came out Kevin followed him out. So at the time there were at least two people who could do the oil change. So we gave Brian our keys and proceeded to go into the store to do some shopping. Oddly enough we kept seeing Kevin walking around the store clearly not doing his job. We waited over an hour and still no oil change. So we went to the oil change area and still not one oil change was done according to Connor the seemingly third oil change mechanic. So there were at least three mechanics that were available to change oil. With exception of Kevin who was busy walking around the store trying to look busy. So over an hour went by and not even one oil change was done. So we asked for our keys back and left. This place needs to be revamped and everyone needs to be fired and hire people that are competent. Do not waste your time going to Walmart for oil changes. There are plenty of places close by that is far and away better than Walmart. That actually have competent, friendly people.

I had such high hopes for this place while thrifting in the Bloomsburg area recently. I read the…read moreGoogle reviews and made sure to add them to my list. Unfortunately, as much as I tried they fell flat for me. I feel like it's someone's unorganized storage of ebay listings...and it could very well be. I don't think they know what they have in there and nothing appears to have any kind of organization with the exception of Christmas and artwork. I found a piece of artwork I did like, but was deferred by the prices (ebay prices, higher than thrift, more in line with an antique store) and the fact that it was stored so unresponsibly that it was damaged. I was greeted upon entry, so the staff (owners? who sit in a little room off the entrance door) were friendly. Everything else was a miss, from the lack of cleanliness, high prices, weird configuration of the parking, weak floorboards upstairs, and just the fact that the majority of what they sell is high for item and condition. Most items did have condition issues, with the exception of some newer (Target?) items on the first floor which were priced at retail. I suspect they came from a pallet purchase. If you're looking for deals there's much better places in the area.

We had previously purchased a bunk bed and a kitchen table from EFO. They aren't the greatest, but we got what we paid for and have been happy with those purchases 3 years ago. We recently purchased a sectional sofa from EFO and when they delivered it - they left in the driveway. Delivery did not include actually bringing it into the house. We had to attach the legs and fortunately we had a drill, because there was no other way to attach the legs to the sofa. What a disaster. Please be very careful before purchasing furniture from a company that can't even explain how their "lack of" delivery works.

When I tried to file a claim the insurance company refused to cover it. I called the store and requested their assistance and the response I got was that they have never had this issue before. Well - you have it now - how about providing good customer service and either getting the insurance to cover this issue or at least offer us a refund or a credit? Nope - nothing. I will never buy from EFO again - I will never recommend them - I will never be duped into buying an extended warranty again.

This is a really cute store, but is big enough to have lots of departments. It reminds me of the Woolworth's stores that I remember as a kid. It's big, no doubt, and has lots of items, but it does not have that impersonal, corporate feel of a super Wal-Mart. There are real people at the counter, who have real things to say (not off a script) and who are actually nice. They have toys, housewares, arts and crafts (which comprises a fairly large section of the store), small appliances, and even a 'dollar store' section in the back. And, prices are pretty low, which is surprising. Beiter's may be a chain in the PA area (I think there is more than one store) but it has not lost that real American feel of a good ole general store. Stop by next time you need something and don't want to wait on line, you'll be glad you did.

Lycoming Mall…read morecould never overcome the loss of four anchors (Macy's, JCPenney, Sears, and Bon-Ton) with the negligent ownership of the Kohan Retail Investment Group. The loss of Jr. anchors, including Old Navy and soon Dick's will only accelerate the malls end. What's left? Burlington and Books A Million are the best-known remaining stores. Empty storefronts dominate all wings of the mall now, with the Bon-Ton wing now being almost empty. The empty storefronts of Gap, Old Navy, Hot Topic, Arby's, and f.y.e. all remain identifiable, a reminder of this mall's better times. Ownership has not been keeping up with maintenance, as the parking lot has several areas blocked off and water damage is beginning to become more visible in several places. The area surrounding the mall has started to rebound after several tough years, with replacements coming in for Gander Outdoors, Grizzly Industrial, Pier 1, and Toys R Us. This makes the property attractive for redevelopment. What will happen to the mall? Demolition. Walmart would be an obvious option for a redevelopment, as the Williamsport area lacks a Walmart Supercenter and the current store in Montoursville has no room for expansion. Some portion of the mall and Burlington could remain depending on how creative future ownership can be. I can remember when this was one of the good malls that would be a special trip to shop at. Sadly, those days are over, like the Lycoming Mall.
