I bought a couple of other items like a multi grip barbell and an EZ curl bar. These have all been satisfactory. I bought a couple of 70 lb hex dumbbells one of which had a poorly installed handle which they replaced. However, I also bought a couple of 35 lb hex dumbbells and they always felt a little off. I finally weighed them after a couple of years out of curiosity and one was basically 40 lbs and the other was just over 35. I sent a message to their customer service about this and never heard back. Even though it had been a while since I bought them, I had researched their warranty on items before messaging them - 35 lbs should always be 35 lbs right? Maybe it's a change in ownership or location since they moved from Birmingham to Hartselle, but needless to say, when it came to buying my next barbell, I turned to Rogue.

Nothing but headaches from Wright. I ordered bumper plate storage a couple months ago. It arrived…read morevia FedEx, and the box was left out in the pouring rain (though there is cover at our house it could have easily been put under). That is not the fault of Wright, however, the storage bar inside was wrapped in nothing. It was just thrown in a box with no protection. So when the box was broken in transit and then left out in the rain, there was damage to the bar. I contacted Wright, and they seemed understanding enough, asked if I wanted a replacement or a refund and I decided on a refund. They wanted me to send the bar back, which was confusing to me since it was damaged, but I didn't have a box since they one it arrived in was a mushy mess with holes all over it. They said in an email: "Then just tape the label to the plate holder without a box. You will have to return it to get a refund. It is damaged already a little more will be ok." I've never laughed so hard! Tape a label to the bar and just slap it in the mail? LOOOOOL. That's not how any of this works. So, I messaged FedEx on Twitter and they told me all good, just bring it and they'd package it for free. Turns out that was not true and they don't offer that service, I think they just told me that because I have a large social media following. Which is so dumb, but whatever, after showing the DMs to the people at FedEx they dealt with it. I felt bad but Wright didn't give me a choice, they wanted me to pay for packaging too after sending me something broken? Nah. Anyway, it's been a week and a half since the plate storage arrived at Wright and they still haven't refunded me. Looks like I'm going to have to file yet another credit card dispute. I ordered plate storage from PRx Performance and it's great! Showed immediately and it was properly wrapped. For a few extra bucks, it was well worth it. They also removed my review from their website, I submitted one weeks ago and it's nowhere to be found.

I sent a screen capture from a competitor showing a price that was $85 less than what FitnessZone was quoting and asked if they would match that price. The email from Scott said, "No. We have money invested in inventory to be able to fill orders faster. The on line price is as low as we can go. Sorry." I ended up buying the machine from the other vendor for $200 lower (shipping included) than Scott said he could go despite FitnessZone's "Price Match" banner on their website.

We searched the Internet for good options and settled on MoveStrong because they had a modular outdoor rig called the T-rex, which we could configure how we wanted it. It's galvanized steel both inside and out, and is built to take the punishments of outdoor conditions. It is well-engineered and built absolutely solid. Check it out: http://www.movestrongfit.com/trex/ . There are so many exercise options available whether it be suspension trainer attachments (ex. TRX), ropes and rings, battle rope attachments, and a variety of pull-up options. What really makes MoveStrong shine is their excellent customer service. Amy worked with us from our inquiry all the way through the ordering process and the follow-up. We live in California so there is a potential logistics issue especially when shipping 1500 lbs of steel, but the delivery process was smooth and right on time as planned. Even after installation, Amy went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied and enjoying our new outdoor gym. I wholeheartedly recommend checking them out if you have any needs for good quality workout equipment.
