These things matter more than price. The price just needs to be competitive! But anyway, we went three a couple weeks of waiting and then everything started clicking. The crew delivered a dumpster and a pile of building material. They tore down the old deck and built a new one three times the size. After the new deck was up there was a little waiting period for the roofer to get there since we wanted a part of the porch to be covered. After that the county inspector came out and it was done. The deck ended up nicely done and sturdy. As soon as the major heat of summer is over, I'll give it a proper staining. Jeff and his crew did a great job and were responsive the whole time. This is a dead giveaway that there's something fishy with these guys.

We hired this place to do a kitchen remodel and replace our floors. What was supposed to be a 2…read moreweek job took 4 months to complete. 6 months after the job was complete we contacted Richard Shaw (Chuck), the owner and guy we dealt with the entire time, and let him know the floor was breaking, cracking, bowing. The transitions were cracked, some were coming off of the floor. Cracks in the floor were found to be glued to be repaired. After a couple of months and many excuses later he finally came out and made a poor attempt to fix one part of the floor. He said he had to order more flooring and come back out. Even joking that we didn't feel like he would come back. Again after many texts messages and excuses, we finally requested a refund for the floor so we could have someone fix them correctly. We were ignored. He never returned any messages and left us with no other choice but to file a civil suit. We were trying to be patient. After 9 months of nonsense we had enough. We filed, showed up to court and were told they couldn't serve carolina home remodel. The physical address doesn't match the company apparently. So we are now left with a busted up floor that we spent thousands of dollars on and its been just over a year. We will continue to pursue legal action.

We had a disaster when an insulation installer punched two huge holes in our bedroom and family…read moreroom ceilings and caused cracks in three other rooms. We were extremely distraught, fearing that our home would not be corrected properly and that its resale value would be significantly compromised. To complicate matters, we have popcorn ceilings and did not want three rooms with flat ceilings while the rest of the house remained textured. We decided to have the damaged areas corrected to match the existing popcorn texture. We asked the insulation installer to contact Humphrey Drywall of High Point, NC, as we had previously used them for a small job with excellent results. Brian and Speedy from Humphrey Drywall did a fabulous job restoring our ceilings to perfect condition. They are true miracle workers--there is absolutely no discernible difference between the repaired areas and the rest of the ceilings. They are one of the few drywall companies capable of working with popcorn ceilings, and they are the absolute best at their craft. I wholeheartedly recommend Brian and Speedy, at Humphrey Drywall, for any drywall or painting projects. If your home still has popcorn ceilings like ours, Humphrey Drywall is the only company to call.

They pointed to this and that saying 'this is not us, we would not install it like that'. We have the invoice and shared it with them. Reluctantly they did the work. Honestly I just wanted them to leave. Would never recommend them to anyone. They will take advantage of the situation, dishonest and rude.

The work is very professionally done and quick. If you leave the house for a couple of hours it is likely you'll get back in time to see them finishing up by scouring the grounds around your house with a metal detector to make sure none of roofing nails escaped the dumpster. I have used them on two houses and recommended Collins to many friends who have been very happy with the results. If you need a roofer, don't waste your time with anyone else. Collins can get it done right.

I have address him as Sir and asked him my questions politely, however, rather then addressing my questions with professionalism, he just shrugged it off and said "I know what I am doing I have 18 years of experience". 2nd: he forgot to mention during his estimate visit, that they will not move any furniture (even a lightweight one). When I asked him, "if you do not move furniture you should have mentioned it during your estimate visit or a day before coming so that we would have been prepared accordingly". And that also, he just shrugged and said you should have asked me. 3rd: The corners of the carpet were dark after the cleaning, and when we asked them why it is not cleaned, he said "I" have to get down on my knees to clean it. The machine wont clean it. With him 18 years of experience he should have mentioned what all he can clean and cannot, but anyways we learned it hard way and honestly didn't wanted to argue with him. After they did cleaning, I have called 2 other professional carpet cleaner and asked if they can get the corners clean and everyone said YES (this is the part of the service) they will themselves scrub it off. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM
