We are very very pleased with their work, and would highly recommend them for your project. Very professional and took time to explain the process. There are more projects to be completed, and will definitely be giving them a call. Thank you so much, Eddie and Martine'!

He did come originally when he stated he would, and brought a worker with him. They supposedly repaired the leaks, stating that he stood behind his work, and that he would come back if the leak continues and fix it at no extra cost to me until I was satisfied that the gutters no longer leaked on the outside and inside of my sunroom. It still leaked. He returned once, took a look, stated that the under plywood was wet from rain due to the leak and once it dried, within a few days; there would no longer be a leak since he repaired the gutters; no more rain could get in. He promised me that! Several Weeks later, the leak continues. He has not returned, and no longer answers my text messages. F/U, The Contractor Eddie contacted me today, and refunded me a fair amount of the money I'd paid him, and apologized for not contacting me last week as promised. Of course the gutter problem has still not been resolved.

She was very helpful in assisting us get the right house for us. Mikayla and Lee were very polite and nice when we had questions about when the house would be arriving and during the whole process of the putting it together to the cleaning. Andy was very thorough with the walk thru and answered all our questions. Any time we had questions or concerns We could email or text any of them and they were very prompt with answers. Plus all the other contractors they had come in for foundation building, HVAC, the electrician, and the plumbers were very nice and always answered by questions when we asked about what they were handling. Our home took 6 months, from our decision with Jacquelyn at the end of January to our walk thru with Andy today, July 26. We found also that the value for what we have is comparable to on site stick built. We are very pleased with what we have chosen as our new home!!

The good: Stands up to high winds (except for the single layer of shingles with no felt/tar paper beneath). Able to somewhat customize to our liking (adding a wall, removing a door). The breaker box is labeled very well. The house is insulated well, but the windows are pretty drafty (see below). The conditioned crawlspace is probably the best feature of the house. The bad: The lighting is screwy... the light over the bathtub only comes on when all the other lights in the bathroom are on. The ceiling fan in the kitchen only comes on when all the other lights in the kitchen are on. There is no felt/tar paper under the single layer of shingles. The indoor wall studs are about 20" apart (at least our customized wall has this spacing). The windows are pretty cheap, and no grids inside actually cost more. The floors are squeaky and bouncy, even when our 8 pound dog walks by. Long story short, if we had to do it again, we wouldn't use Carolina Custom Homes. The house is sufficient, but we are mostly disappointed in the overall quality.

After finalizing design and cost work began and project completed in record time. Tony and his staff were there when they said they would be on site. Progress status with photos provided daily and except for a weather delay all the work was done as promised. Tony is very knowledgeable, as I've been around construction my entire work career I am impressed with the quality of his work. It's excellent quality. Things could not have been any better. Excellent work, excellent people.

Tru-Bilt Construction (Tony) was super responsive to my initial call and within a day or two, came to check out project idea and make bid. Was best bid and most professional out of multiple and we went with Tru-Bilt. I only had rough plans for the deck we wanted and I needed to get the permits since I was finishing the deck. Tony took my rough plans and redrew to meet permit requirements as I am not a professional. He also calculated the lumber needed for the ENTIRE project, made the order for me, and worked with me so I could pay for lumber myself. Permits went smooth and they began as soon as they were approved. Tony and his crew arrived when planned and gave me regular status updates. He worked well with us on design changes as we went, patiently explained details of his build, and the best ways to move forward considering design changes. He also provided design ideas for railings and a sound barrier/privacy wall that I was finishing myself. Tony was super willing to share his knowledge and expertise even walking me through step by step how to lay down decking edges, deck board, etc. according to his pre-planned design to ensure it looked top notch and high end professionally built (I quickly discovered it was best to video when he was dropping build knowledge). From pouring of footings to fully framed deck, they were done in approx 4 days (not considering permit waiting time, footings dry time, etc). Wonderful company for DIY'ers who do not have time or energy to do the "heavy lifting" and want to do some of their own work. Tony was super patient and easy to work with, has an excellent crew, and we are super happy with the end result. Will difinetly use Tru-Bilt Construction (Tony and his crew) for future projects.
