I also had him strip and repaint the trim around the side door into my garage (while doing that he also removed some dry rot and sealed everything to prevent any issues in the future). Scheduling was a little rocky due to the snow and weather, but I didn't mind at all because the work was high quality and I'm exceptionally happy with the final product I got! Would happily hire him again in the future!

I contracted Joo to remodel my bathroom and laundry room back in April of 2023. He said he could…read morecomplete the job in 3 weeks. it took nearly 5 months and the work was HORRIBLE. Before I could even enjoy my shower the tile walls started cracking. There was a big hole in one tile that had been filled in with grout to hide. The tiles on the bathroom floors started coming up immediately. There were so many things wrong. I eventually had to hire another contractor to come in and demo EVERYTHING that Joe had done, and redo my entire bathroom again. When the new contractor took out the shower, we found that the pipes had cuts in them and Joe had just covered them up. Everything that Joe did had to be replaced because of the poor installation. I paid him over 28k, and I paid for most of the materials myself. He is very dishonest, and made promises that he NEVER intended to keep. He said he would call me to schedule a meeting to talk about a refund, and he hasn't returned any of my calls, emails or text. if you are considering him for a job, DON'T!!!!! He and his workers who are not licensed, scratched my laminate flooring in 3 rooms. Unfortunately my flooring is no longer available so the rooms would need to be completely replaced. He said he could fix the scratches, but he hasn't. He has no regard for personal property.

Absolutely amazing company…read more About a month ago I was having carpet installed upstairs on Monday morning. While I was removing our old carpet Sunday morning, I discovered loud obnoxious floor squeaks that were slightly muffled by padding. In a quick panic I gave Stetten Home Services a call and was referred to a great guy named Ryan that was able to come out immediately. Listen, there aren't many companies that would do this. You could probably count the amount of companies that would still provide an unscheduled service to you on Sunday with one hand. They did this, even after they were closed. CLOSED I tell you. On SUNDAY. They helped me even when they weren't open. If your in need of home services or even just brainstorming a few ideas you have for your home, Call Stetten. Now.

Communication with Adam was top-notch, the work was done very well and right on schedule. But that's not all. The crew found a couple of issues in the crawlspace I had no idea about -- moldy ductwork and a leak. They showed me photos. These are serious issues I now know I need to take care of ASAP. AND we're going to use Stetten Home Services for a long overdue finishing of the exterior of our sunporch. Stetten Home Services, in our experience, is a very professional, reasonably priced outfit that offers one-stop shopping for a range of services and delivers the goods. We found this company via a neighbor's recommendation. Sure am glad!

However after the…read moremeeting with him and a quick flurry of emails, we heard nothing for a week because Michael wanted the plans a previous builder had done. After many calls and efforts to acquire the plans from the architect, we received them and forwarded them to Michael. I think we dodged a bullet. I have no tolerance for people who give you the runaround and then don't follow through on their end. I run 2 businesses, and if I treated my clients like that, I would have been out of business a long time ago. If you don't have the time to do projects stop wasting potential clients time and just tell them up front that you aren't taking on any new projects.

1 word, HORRENDOUS!!!!!…read more Sam Macdougall is not an experienced builder even though he portrays himself as one. His work was so below par it was stupefying. I could turn the 2x4's of the framing 360 degrees with my bare hands, tresses did not match each other, the garage opening was only 7.25' wide, and the list goes on. We finally had to sue him for our $50,000 because we could not find another construction company willing to take over the job; each said the previous work would have to be demolished and a whole new structure built. We sued him and his father-in-law paid his debt. Come to find out this was the SECOND 'mistake' his father-in-law had resolved. I just wish there was some way of putting this type of builder out of business for good! DO NOT USE SANDERSON CONSTRUCTION!

Be careful dealing with Triangle Reconstruction. Rob, the owner comes off as humble, honest and…read moresincere, but if something goes wrong watch out ! I hired Triangle Reconstruction back in the winter to repair the foundation at my house. This was a very large project of which I had paid him about a third. On January 11 they caused a fire at my house burning down my kitchen. Rob was very apologetic at first, but when I told him I wanted another company to finish the project he said I owed him a lot of money for the work they did and he claimed that they had completed %80 of the job. Fortunately, I had a reputable structural engineer come out to inspect my foundation before they started working on my house and then I had him come back after the fire. The engineer stated only 1/3 of the work had been completed - if that much ! Rob also threatened to file a stop work order if I did not let him bring 'his engineer' out to look at it. I understand accidents happen and against the advice of many people I was actually willing to give him the opportunity to finish the job and try to help rectify the situation. However Rob's estimate to finish was nowhere close to being equitable and provided no consideration for the hardship he has caused in my life. His estimate even included money owed for work they did in the kitchen which was burnt in the fire that they caused ! He clearly doesn't understand the gravity of this and what my family and I have gone through and what we're still going through. We have been out of our house for almost 5 months now and probably won't be able to move back in for another month or two. My family has suffered tremendously due to this company's negligence.
