They offer a wide array of traditional sweets as well as chocolate bars and drinks. They also sell a large selection of magazines and papers they manage to fit quite a bit in to a small shop. The sales people are very friendly and the sweets are pretty good value. Great location as well and quick service means its ideal for just popping in on a lunch break.

While it is only a small store, it does feel slightly nicer than other locations as they've replaced the outdated carpet with a nice wooden floor, which makes the store more cleaning and more appealing. The selection is OK, although it is small in some areas they did have a nice selection of books and stationery. The drinks fridge and selection of newspapers/magazines was smaller than an average WHSmith store. 3* - Good store for books/stationery or visiting the Post Office but they don't seem to have the whole WHSmith offering you'd expect.

I must admit I'm not the greatest of book reader, but I do know when you readi a really good one, it's a fantastic experience.. I'm more into audio books now.. Yip I know ,,the easy and lazy way out. And if you have time to put down that best selling novel you can turn your reading to magazines, newspapers, booklets , Ohhh you name it they have it. Then there 's the other shelves,,, Yes the other shelves. The little more exciting shelves. Ummm let me see What I can buy ? A day on a Race Track, An Hot Air Ballooon Ride, Rock Concert Tickets, A day out having Mud plastered on your face. The staff are lovely and always up for chatting if you'll give them long enough. The shop is only small but stocks all the things you'd expect to find in a small newsagents. The prices are the same as most other newsagents in the area but the big drawing point for me is the long opening hours. The shops seems to open at a ridiculously early hour and doesn't stop 'til 6 making it an ideal stopping point for me on my way to or from work. You can also purchase lottery tickets (although I've yet to win!) and Burnley FC matchday programs if you're so inclined.
