When I discovered this, I was told there was nothing they could do. Because I am over 62, I could have simply left $0 in the account and never been charged a fee. I would have done this, but I was never told that I was being charged $25. I complained at the Gibsonia branch and was told there was nothing they could do. Then after writing a letter to PNC, I got a call from a PNC representative who again told me there was nothing they could. But the representative did thank me for being a PNC customer !?!? PNC is a selfish greedy bank, do not use them!

They've never charged for ATM transactions, have reasonable Friday and Saturday hours, are super friendly every single time I deal with them, and have a very good online bill payment service. The new bank in Adams Twp is really nice and close to my house so it's very convenient. The main branch in Mars even has a Coinstar machine to dump all that loose change that collects over time! The standard answer is they can on handle one transaction with one person at a time. To clarify. There are 2 people at the desks, 2-3 tellers, and they can only handle 1 person with 1 transaction at a time. That came straight from the branch managers mouth. Drive to cranberry for the same banking needs. Steer clear of this site.
