Stephanie was very helpful and clearly outlined the steps/ cost to repair and install the fountain. Anthony (her husband) and his assistant had to drill a new hole in the fountain, add another piece to make it functional, and set it up beautifully! I couldn't be more pleased having this lovely fountain fully functional, from being in pieces in my backyard for six months. Stephanie and her family, Jeannine and Bob own this company. Stephanie, apparently allows her husband to control her customer service at her company. Stephanie is young but she will realize in time that her husband is not an asset but a liability to her families company. I will never buy from this company again. This company is having some financial difficulties right now...it is winter and the Covid-19 Pandemic. I purchased a fountain from them on Monday, Dec 07 and picked it up...(no, offer for delivery) on Tuesday, Dec 08. I put this fountain together myself. No offer from the company after spending $350.00 for a small fountain. My spouse and I have spent over $1500 with this company. Apparently no respect for good customers. I put the fountain together perfectly...all by myself. Again, no offer from the company to assist. "Horrible customer service". I called the phone number given to me and who answers....Stephanie's horrible husband. He couldn't have been more rude. His response to me was that there was going to be a charge of $250...then reduced down to $150 ....then reduced down to $75. He stated that minimum charge would be $75 for simple 10 minute leveling of the fountain. Very simple process that requires pennies or plastic leveling tabs. However, he went one step further to state that if he had to put the fountain together again then it would be $150.00. What an incredible asset to this company. NOT. I'm 5 miles from their store. They could easily have stated that they would come over for a good customer that has purchased 4 fountains/statue from them and that they would do this for free. Again, it's a 10 minute fixe for a professional. And, again, I've spent a lot of money on this company. Stephanie calls me and tells me that she can offer me a substantial discount on the fountain. This tells me that the company is not doing well financially....and, of course not, it's winter, Covid-19 and a poor economy right now. I felt sorry for the company since I've got more money than anyone should have right now. I've no had no financial problems during Covid-19, in fact I got a 15% raise during this time. I thought as a "goodwill" term that I would buy from them because I liked Stephanie ... not because the price was incredible. It actually was higher than the price I had paid for the large fountain that I had purchased prior to this one. Her husband is a technician for them. Technician may go to far. I'm not even sure if he has a college degree. All, I know is that he mistreated an exceptional customer who was doing them a favor. And, he felt this would be a good way to make some extra money. What a joke. And, what incredibly horrible customer service. I have done hiring at my company and I would never hire this guy. After speaking to him for 30 minutes on the phone, I realized that I had made a huge mistake speaking to him. He even stated "how did you get our personal cell phone number"? I told him that Stephanie had given me that phone number. Is this customer service? If you need to hide something, then I can fully understand that question. He is stating that a lawsuit would be the only way this company would be forced to understand the way I feel. He feels that a lawsuit would be the best avenue to let this company know how serious we are about the problems with their son-in-law. He is absolutely horrible and should never be allowed to answer their phones or have anything to do with their company. He has absolutely no customer service skills. I'm ashamed for Stephanie. She can do better. She is such a sweet woman and has obviously married someone who can cause her problems....as he did with me. I have to share my experience and tell you how disappointed I am in KC Arnold's unkept promises…read more He came to us with his bid and design for a pool in our new house's backyard in June of 2020 and promised the world. I suppose hearing his stories of the "big guys" and how you're just a number to them and how they sign you up only to quit working at the earliest forecast of rain, etc. worked on me. I believed him when he told us that we would be swimming before the summer ends. I believed him when he told us that he would be done within 5 weeks of starting our pool. I will give him this--he is a great salesman. He regaled us with tales of all of his previous pool work and showed us pictures of his happy customers. From the first time we met with him I responded to his energy--even when he had bad news about the schedule and summer began to slip away, we still believed in his enthusiasm for the pool. Unfortunately, he came up with excuse after excuse to put off the construction of our pool. Please understand that we were willing to cut him plenty of slack for the toll that COVID took on his sub-contractors' crews over the summer. But the only time KC ever took action is when we threatened to stop paying him. He told us that we were next in line for gunite for over 3 months. Amazingly, when we told him on a Friday that we were going to select another contractor, the load of gunite appeared the following Monday! He began digging the pool in early September, finally applying the gunite to create the inside of the pool in October. In late October my wife and KC discussed how small the deck area around the pool looked as compared to the design we had seen (in the bid, he promised 1,024 sq. ft. of concrete deck, but it was significantly less than that when he prepped the area around the pool). My wife told him, "If you can forward me the email that you sent regarding our final plans, and this is something we glanced over, then we will pay for half of the cost for additional concrete." Unfortunately, he never emailed us the "final design;" it was sent for the first time to us that night. We called and told him this, and he replied that he would pay for his mistake (!), but (speaking over us to his wife), "I'm not giving them a warranty or a spray deck...nothing! I'm done!" Then, he hung up the phone on us! He apologized the next week for his actions, and finally "finished" the pool on November 1 (which still wasn't totally finished, btw). He told me that if he didn't get his final payment the next day, then "you'll see me blow a gasket, and you don't want that." However, there were significant issues pointed out to me by more than one of the pool cleaning companies we interviewed that made me embarrassed to admit how much we paid for our pool from KC. For instance, he added a second pump for the water features which, I have since been told, was redundant for a smaller 16K gallon pool. (The single pump is enough to work for a pool twice our size, water features included). But because it pulls the dirty water from the bigger pump, it will require cleaning every 1-1 1/2 months instead of the normal 4-6 months that filters require to avoid mold. And it pads the bid for the pool contractor. Since getting a pool is such a significant investment (for us, anyway LOL), we don't like hearing other pool contractors making bids here in our neighborhood telling us that we should have paid significantly less than we did for what we got. KC charged us at least 20% more than other companies we have since seen. I know, I know, we signed the contract at the price we paid and can't change that now. But I can tell you that it shouldn't happen again to you now that you know what has happened to us. If I could go back in time, I would not have believed all of KC's promises...and likely saved some money, too.

You will find no one better than T&C. I was immediately sold on Town and Country from day 1 and it is purely because of Emil Hermis, our builder. I filled out a request for information and within an hour Emil came to our home and began designing. Emil immediately struck me as a man of integrity, dedication, and very knowledgeable. My first impression was not wrong, Emil is a master of his craft and every single detail mentioned was delivered upon with perfection. I cannot begin to describe how grateful and thankful to Emil we are. The contractors used by T&C are top notch. There wasn't a single crew that worked on our pool that wasn't simply amazing. All were incredibly friendly, respectful, diligent, and hard working. The quality and skill every single crew brought to the build cannot be understated.. and they did it in 100 degree Southeast Texas heat. I cannot stress enough to a potential pool buyer, take care of your crews working on your pool. It is boiling hot outside and these guys do not take breaks, get them Gatorade or water. It doesn't take much to take care for the people giving you their all in our weather. We love our new pool and could not recommend Town and Country enough. Tim came out to diagnose some issues with the wiring on our irrigation system. He really knew what…read morehe was doing in regards to the sprinkler system. He had to track down and find a couple cuts/nicks in the wiring to the solenoid boxes. System is back up and running now. He did advise to replace the controller box as well as 1 zone isn't working correctly. I'll be getting one and switching it out myself though. Would recommend him to do irrigation work anytime.
