I came here for my bridal hair and makeup after other not so great experiences with other salons already, she was listed on my photographers page so I thought she would be legit. After she completed my hair, which wasn't really what I had discussed, I advised her I didn't want a messy bun, more cleaner look, and apparently since I have brunette hair, she didn't even want to look at the blond hairstyles I pulled. I get that it's blonde and it's not going to look the same, but I wanted that simple style. What I got was a messy bun to one side, and she was tiring after that as well, I could tell. So when she started in makeup, oh my word... my 5 year old nephew, could have drawn a better eye liner line than she did. Which she told me she would do much better the day of... well isn't this what a trial is for? To make me look like I will day of?? I have health issues, which I explained to her. I didn't expect the end result, my fiancé had plans to go out that evening, but ended up cancelling because of how terrible I looked. Well, I tried to cancel. And oh boy, get slapped with a $500 bill for cancelling before 3 months prior to the wedding. It's almost a month and a half out, but I'm telling everyone she isn't worth the price I paid for that trial, let alone the $500 to cancel this. I have not seen this kind of contract with any location that I have dealt with and I will no longer be looking for this service after this experience. As a bride being charged a fee that's hidden in a contract, paying this woman for the day of service when she didn't do or listen to her client. No bride should ever experience what I have gone through and this woman should be utterly ashamed. Just like the last place I scolded for working my ass off to get a hold of them... no one is worth the time or money that I have experienced yet and this was so shocking, it's ripped my trust from all my vendors. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! I already have so much to pay out for this and that on top of a cancellation fee, it's ridiculous... and this is clearly the only thing keeping her in business. No I do not recommend her and I will also be discussing this with my photographer about removing her from her site. Again, not a bridal service at all.

When I found Kaylee's website, I was captivated. I kept looking around, but I knew what I wanted. I recommend booking her early (I did 10 mos in advance). For our engagement shoot, they weren't able to make it all the way out to where we lived. They wanted to meet somewhere more central. We decided on meeting in Leavenworth within a certain timeframe in which they'd be there. Although 3.5hrs away from home and kinda last-minute, the trip actually turned out to be a wonderful weekend getaway for my husband and I, so we were Happy! Not to mention the pictures = fantastic (Everyone loved them!) The wedding - Kaylee and Drew were ON IT. I mean, they did their thing, knew how to direct us when needed, yet were out of the way. This makes a big difference when hiring our team to help with takedown. I was able to give my clients a huge discount for my takedown/cleanup service. So it's a hidden gem! This place has amazing large lawns and lots of floral shrubs. Just driving up the lane to the venue gave me butterflies. The owners were very helpful throughout the whole day. They even helped my husband and I get my keys out of my locked car! The father of the groom thanked the owners in his toast so I have a good feeling they were wonderful to work with like he said. As it started to get dark they lit torches (not tacky tiki ones) around the outdoor dining/reception area and have so many other great lighting touches. This has to be one of the most beautiful wedding venues I've seen (and I toured a lot for my wedding a few years ago). Just the amount of work it takes to make the grounds look that good is very impressive.
