She told me we'd be going to a park, but instead drove us to a muddy tree farm. Not only was this not to my taste, my younger daughter has a muscular disorder and CAN'T EVEN WALK on uneven ground. She kept falling down and was hysterical most of the time. At one point Jerrah said to her in a sing-songy voice, "oh, come on now, you can get up, it's so easy!" WHO SAYS THAT TO A DISABLED CHILD??? My younger daughter's hysterical, my older daughter's distraught that her beloved little sister is upset, I'm stressed, pissed off AND wearing high heels in the middle of a farm field and we're rushed through the entire shoot She mentioned the lighting would be really good in about 15 minutes (the "golden light" that's so pretty), then said she didn't want to wait that long and had to get home. She only took about 30 shots total, most of which were us seated on a filthy blanket in a dirty field. Owing to all this, our pictures were absolutely terrible and a compete waste of $350.

We just received our photos and they are FANTASTIC!!! We could not be happier. We have M&P booked for our wedding in October and I am 100% confident that our experience with them will be the same if not better. We HIGHLY recommend these two. Yay!! Thank you!!!

She is warm, easy to connect with and feel relaxed around. She has a very contagious laugh which I believe is a necessary asset in a photographer. She is great with kids and creative at keeping toddler's attentions. At a newborn session with my week old son, I wanted some bare bottomed pictures. As soon as his diaper came off he unloaded all over her. She didn't even bat an eye. Just chuckled, whipped out her own wipes and went right along with our session. She comes to each session with her own ideas but always asks us what our vision is. She is creative with her shots and editing but not so out there that it seems unrealistic. She captures moments that are unexpected. My little tot was not thrilled for one of our sessions. Older sister sat down next to him with a look on her face that could only be described as a preschooler eye roll at little brother's tantrum. Kari captured that moment and knew it would be a picture that would make us smile. She has sent us walking to our next shot location and stood behind to sneak photos of us walking and hand holding. Some of these informal pictures of our family are what we cherish the most. Kari actually cares deeply about her clients, which is why she has so many repeat clients who come back to her at their next phase of life. I also respect her as a photographer because she uses the talent she has to volunteer for some incredibly meaningful causes. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Very natural and very 'us'. I hadn't had any professional photos since then though, because #1, I'm terrible at planning and prioritizing things like that (esp without a major reason/event, like a wedding), and 2, it didn't seem like it was really within my budget right now. However, being on her mailing list all this time I saw that she sometimes offers mini sessions and I finally took the plunge over the holidays with my 4 year old. It was great- it was super quick and easy, AND affordable. She's great with kids, keeping them talking and smiling and posing all while taking photos rapid-fire. Since it was a mini session, I was just hoping for a couple of good shots to use for our Christmas cards. Instead we got so many good ones it was really hard to choose which ones to use! I'm so happy to have these photos and am now fully convinced this is something I need to prioritize annually as my son grows up. I will definitely be using Erin again and would recommend her to anyone!

All I really wanted was to get dressed up, hike along the pacific coast with our daughter, and renew our vows... so that's exactly what we did. We found Danielle Lentz online and after viewing her portfolio we knew that her style and aesthetic was exactly what we were looking for - bonus that she is a local, Snohomish photographer! From the start, Danielle was a true professional and very easy to connect with. We decided on La Push for our destination and she helped us in planning out the logistics for the day. The funny thing is, plans rarely go according to plan... our family arrived late to the campsite, we rushed to get ready, and the weather was not what hoped for. I had a low-key meltdown on the beach, feeling everything was a just a mess. Through it all, Danielle's sweet and positive attitude kept us encouraged that we would get the photos we were hoping for, despite the complications along the way. She was patient, flexible, calm, and reminded us that we were on an adventure. She helped us relax and stay comfortable, which was significant considering we had never taken family photos before - and it can feel a little awkward at times! When we received the gallery with our photos a few weeks later, we were truly blown away. Danielle has such a great eye for capturing the moment, and it comes across so beautifully in her photos. She made this dream of ours come to life! I have shared the gallery with friends and family and received so many compliments - Danielle's work is simply stunning. Looking back on the day, I realize that it was intimate, adventurous, silly, romantic, chaotic, and very, very lovely. Danielle, you are a gem. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

We were referred to Jenn Tai by our wedding planners. We spent $4,410 for 6 hours of wedding day…read morecoverage with 1 photographer. Our photographer was Kelly Bowie. From the moment Kelly arrived at our wedding it felt like amateur hour. Even though we met with her in advance of our wedding and sent all the details in writing, she "forgot" pretty much everything we discussed. For example, Kelly forgot to bring the list of family groupings for the family photos. Kelly also forgot that we needed seating for disability accommodations during the family photos and chose a location that required our elderly and disabled guests to walk down a hill and then stand outside in the August heat for almost an hour with no place to sit. Additionally, during the ceremony Kelly's presence was very distracting. We were in a small greenhouse with multiple entrances where she could have easily walked around the guests to get from one point to another but instead she walked down the aisle and in front of our guests multiple times during the ceremony. If it's possible, when we received the photos we were even more disappointed in Jenn Tai Photography. There was a real lack of attention to detail that was visible in the photos and that you expect a professional photographer to be aware of. For example, in several of the photos you can see phones visible in pockets, hand sanitizer clipped to belts, etc. Also, some of the key photos were overexposed and as a result faces or images were so light that detail was lost. We brought a lot of these issues to the attention of the company owner, Jenn, who did her best to address our concerns during post-production editing. Jenn's customer service was great and we know that she worked hard to try to correct the issues. Thank you, Jenn, for doing your best to fix our photos. Overall, we're still not happy with most of our wedding photos, but thanks primarily to Jenn's post-production work we have a small percentage of wedding photos that we love and will cherish.
