In my about 5 years coming here, I have had 3 different providers, which is not ideal. Once I have gotten used to one, they leave. I think I know why... One thing that IS consistent with this place is that they will have you WAIT for your appointment for at LEAST an hour beyond your scheduled time. It is so infuriating. I have complained and was told a "Dr. Vasquez" made this policy / oversees when patients get seen or scheduled too tightly / whatever causes this problem, and that no, I cannot have his contact number to complain to him directly, and that those at the front desk have zero say over this policy or the way patients are scheduled. They told me patients complain about this often. Uhhhhh, so DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I told my care provider that day, Dr. Raul Tovar Castro, to report this fact to Dr. Vasquez and he said he would, as did my past caregivers, but that has made ZERO change in this TERRIBLE service in 5 years. I was only advised to make appointments for the first slot of the day, or the first time slot after lunch, when there is no chance they would be backed up yet. My appointment was for 8:30am (I guess I should have made it for 8am!), I was seen after 9:30am and thus was late for a 10am meeting. It's VERY annoying and does NOT have to be this way. Why don't doctors respect the TIME of their patients!? Of course, if a patient does not show, we will be CHARGED, but they have zero issue making us wait. I come here because it is close to my home and work.

Not only did I have difficulties regarding medical studies, the staff he employs has poor work ethic. This past month, I went to pick up a prescription. It was not a regular scheduled visit - it was a matter that should have only taken half an hour at most, since it wouldn't require waiting in line. We arrived at opening time to avoid any issues. However, my son (who is autistic) and I watched as patients that arrived after us were showed in while we were ignored. Every time I asked the receptionist about it, her attitude was unhelpful, and there was a clear lack of communication to Dr. Roncallo. My son started to get restless and frustrated. He cannot handle over stimulation and there was little I could do to calm him when we were waiting. At the end, after more than two hours of waiting, I approached the receptionist one last time to tell her to send the refill to me. It has still not been delivered to this day. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. You could argue that it was only the staff that were involved in this incident, but I believe that leadership is reflected in the people you employ, and it was not agreeable in the least.

The location is convenient, right of I-10 and right of Mesa. There's plenty of parking. I like that her office is professional and has everything that most El Paso offices do not have: doctor remembers who you are and what you came in for in the past, the wait is never long (5 mins at most), once you get called into the nurse's office for vitals you're not moved to 20 different nurses' offices before being seen by the doctor, and staff is friendly. Over a couple of years, I only had one issue with one staff member not being friendly and he was gone by the next time I visited the office. We switched insurance companies and unfortunately she isn't covered by our insurance (mistake on our part to even consider this insurance), but we still prefer to go to her office even if we have to pay out-of-pocket.
