The first day we didn't buy anything, but today I found a cute hat that I HAD to have and we were planning on buying many more items as well, however, as I was walking past the counter to the back of the store, the above mentioned woman came out from behind the counter and asked if I wanted to buy the hat, to which I replied yes, she then asked if I was finished shopping, and I said not yet and tried to walk past her, but she stopped me and grabbed the hat, ripping it out of my hand!! She she needed to hold it behind the counter. She made me feel like she suspected I might steal the hat!! I was mortified and horribly offended!! And all this over a $50 baseball cap!! I have never been treated so rudely or unprofessionally at a place of business. We also visited Hermes today and I walked around the store holding six items that we ended up purchasing, PLUS a purse, and we were treated with courtesy, kindness and professionalism and believe it or not, not one employee tried to rip anything out of my hands. ‍ Needless to say, I will NEVER step foot in Pitkin County Dry Goods again. Considering multiple reviews with similar experiences, I would suggest to others not to visit this shop either...well at least not until that woman is no longer working there.

I came in the next morning and was told they did not detune the skis despite me explicitly asking on the sheet I was given. I was treated as if I didn't understand what I was talking about as the man helping me told me they "didn't recommend doing that on a new pair of skis" I have skied since I could walk and have had my skis detuned the last 5 years of my life immediately after coming out of the packaging. I paid $77 for the mount and wasn't given half of what I came to do. Will be going anywhere else to get my skis done. I highly recommend Incline, just across the way down the hall from Gorsuch at the base of Aspen.

I paid and we left. My wife noticed that the store had charged almost $50 for each of the shirts and we immediately returned to the store. We asked to return the items. The clerk refused stating their no refund policy was printed on the receipt! Of course, you would not see that until you had already purchased the items They said that there was also a sign on the door but it was at the bottom corner of door in small letters. Unbelievable!!

The night we arrived at Snowmass, we headed over to Four Mountain Sports with my ski boots, in order to pick out a pair of skis for me. The young man we spoke with heard what kind of skier I am, and brought out three suggested pairs. I was really eager to try out something a little more aggressive than the K2 One Love, my current pair. The next morning, I clicked into my rented boards and was instantly making all kinds of pleasureful oohs and ahhs for the first several turns down the modest hill to the ski lift. Whoopee! I loved those skis. But wait, there's more. Because after the fluffy snow was all smooshed down from people playing on it for a day or two, I went back and tried one of the other suggested skis, one made for packed snow and even *more* carving and tiny turns. Oh, wow. I loved the precise feel of those. Even though they felt quite damped down and didn't give the soles of my feet as much feedback as I'd expect, the second pair were very quick to initiate a turn. This experience of borrowing skis makes me want to seriously consider an upgrade in a year or two. Having a person who understands the "personality" of each type of ski offered at the shop and who is able to match that to the preferences of each skier is, for me, the number one important thing for customer happiness. I'm confident that the Four Mountains people can recommend something for me next time I'm in that neck of the woods. I found it very convenient that the skis I had borrowed bore my name on a sticker so that I could find them more easily in a crowded ski rack. If I had wanted to change skis more often, they would have hooked me up with anything I had wanted to try. Nice to be unlimited. FYI: The lift ticket is actually a plastic credit card that you keep in your pocket. The gates at the chair lifts and gondola will detect the pass in your pocket and let you in. As part of our one week ticket, each lift ticket received a $20 voucher good toward lunch at one of the on-mountain cafeterias. We also were given a voucher toward shopping with each lift ticket.

My request for band aids quickly turned into the wonderful Dave Redell stopping me to ask more about what discomfort I was feeling. He ultimately took 20 minutes of his day to sit down with me, explain different elements of my boots, and adjust both my boot shell and my boot liners based on my feedback. I walked out feeling 10x better and learned so much about ski boots in the process. Big thanks to Dave! Highly recommend going to him for any equipment adjustments that you need.

Between the eight of us, we had so many flights that were canceled/rebooked/ late getting in, and ski butlers had no problem accommodating all of the changes. Not only were they so accommodating, but their service and equipment was as good as it gets. We highly recommend them to anybody who's looking to ski or snowboard. We rented both skis and snowboards and helmets from them. We didn't have any problems with any bit of our equipment. Our 6 kids range from 17 to 26 and they were all happy. Anybody with multiple kids knows that they're not always all happy. So I would say, it was a huge success. Thank you Ski Butlers!!! We will see you again in March.

Riley and his team provided the most amazing customer service I have EVER experienced…read more -When I arrived in Aspen last Friday, Riley delivered two different-sized bikes to my hotel, the St. Regis. He fitted and adjusted the bike for me and provided a bike lock and a helmet. - On Saturday, when I reported having trouble finding the beginning of the Rio Grande Trail, he offered to have his team either drop me off or ride with me to the opening so that I could find it. They also will pick you up along the trail if you bike toward Basalt and don't want to do the uphill ride back. - Later Saturday night, I realized I'd need a basket to carry my phone and wallet on the trail ride. Riley came to the hotel and attached a basket to the bike, before 9 a.m. Sunday, which is when I said I'd need it. In the basket, he left a map, highlighted with my route. -He picked it up on Monday when I left to go home. Riley consistently surpassed my expectations with each interaction. I only actually saw him one time, when he delivered the bike. The rest of this work was done behind the scenes. I wish every business were as accommodating!

We brought our own pedals shoes and helmets but they have all that you need if you don't! The guys did everything! Even got my hubby a mount for his wahoo device! They offer coffee, water, beer, ice cream...probably more, but that's what I remember! One of the guys actually went out with us to the bike trail so we wouldn't get lost! So nice! Great idea and such a simple concept! Walk in to a sea of t-shirts perfectly adorned on the walls…read morelike an art gallery. Pick the ones you like, remember the number or point and you have shirts for you and your friends. I picked two up but they were out of size L on one of the shirts so I got the XL and boy do they run WIDE. Too big for my gentleman friend so I will just have to wear it to bed or wait until I have a wider gentleman friend... just kidding. T-shirts for everyone here, kids too! They offered few hoodies and sweatshirts and all at Non-Aspen prices!
