Long enough, in fact, to be able to meet the rigorous (and expensive) Soil Association prerequisites, allowing them to be Soil Association registered. There's a huge problem in society today where a lot of us purchase our meat from supermarkets with absolutely no regard for where the meat comes from and whether or not we're willing to support the living conditions some animals endure to provide us consumers with sustenance. I'm no animal rights activist and I'm definitely not a vegetarian, but I do think that when there's really very little reason to not opt for the more ethical option, we should try our best to support farms that give animals a humane life. Douglas Willis is a family owned butchers from South Wales, having opened their first shop in Old Cwmbran back in 1940. They pride themselves in offering the highest quality of free-range meat from animals who have lived a comfortable life, free from the confining conditions from a lot of other farms... ... And it really shows in the taste as well! A bit lost? The employees here really know what they're doing and they're quite friendly as well normally so they should be able to answer any queries you may have.

There's very little seating, only a handful of tables and chairs outside the establishment, so I wouldn't bet on being able to find anywhere to sit and enjoy your meal. ~ Customer Service: I've not had any trouble here so far. The employees are very efficient workers and even when there is a huge queue of customers, everyone only needs to wait a couple minutes maximum until they get served. ~ Food: Like I said, LOVE the baguettes. Today, I ordered a lamb baguette which came with stuffing and mint jelly. Was absolutely divine! Even if you're not much of a baguette person (to be honest, I'm not usually one), there's plenty of other hot food for takeaway - ranging from curries, stews, to breakfast options. Whenever I drop by, I always have to spend a few minutes trying to decide what I want because everything looks delicious! I'm a massive fan of DW Food to Go.
