So naturally, you want the person capturing the day to feel that it is just as important as you do. When I began the wedding planning process, I watched (what seemed like hundreds) of wedding videos. While most were beautifully done, I wanted something different. Colin Passman's work had that something extra. His ability to capture feelings and emotions left me speechless. I knew he was the right person for the job. The video that Colin created for us far exceeded any of our expectations. It is absolutely beautiful and completely blew my husband and I away. His work truly is impeccable and his creative style is second to none. I could not recommend a better or more professional videographer.

I was the Matron of Honor in my best friend's wedding at Spring Mill Manor, and as someone who…read moreworks in customer service, I was absolutely appalled by the level of disorganization, lack of communication, and overall disregard for professionalism I witnessed from start to finish. Nearly every detail the bride confirmed and signed off on before the wedding was ignored. The bridal suite had dirty champagne glasses and unsafe, wobbly chairs for hair and makeup. Both coordinators were hard to find throughout the day, and when issues arose, they were either dismissed or never followed up on. Guests were served the wrong food (including one with a serious allergy), others didn't receive meals at all, and many didn't even know dessert or coffee was available because there was no announcement. The champagne cart enhancement that was paid for was unstaffed and never used. Even simple things like helping the bride's nephew hand out programs--something I personally spoke to the coordinator about--were completely forgotten. Working in customer service myself, I know how important attention to detail, communication, and accountability are--especially for an event as meaningful as a wedding. What I saw that day was the opposite. The only person who seemed to know what she was doing was Sarah, who genuinely tried to correct issues and assist where others failed. Overall, it was extremely disappointing to watch such an important day unravel due to negligence and poor management.

He was very good at guiding us through the scenes and having us pose for the camera. The transitions used in our video were perfect. Very high quality footage. I was also very grateful that he got some clips of our band playing. We also appreciated the raw video footage, because there were some things left out of the edited videos that we wanted to look back on. Monika stepped in after a small hiccup with the prior event planner and we couldn't have been more impressed by her attention to detail, walking us through each step and what to expect. She was extremely accommodating with some of the cultural components we wanted to add to our day! Aldie mansion and the entire staff were incredibly attentive and ensuring we had a stress free day! And the food - no words... our guests are still raving about it! Highly recommend this venue for a magical and elegant experience.

I imagine the mansion is not cheap to rent, but it was a wonderful spot to have a wedding. There are several unique spots outside the mansion to hold a ceremony, whether you prefer to have a fountain, flowers, or a huge oak tree in the background of your wedding shots. I'm not a fan of catered food, but the mansion's catering company was pretty good. I liked the mini burger appetizers and my beef tenderloin dinner. I really liked all the small rooms that we were able to mingle in. They set up the bar in the library and a photo booth in another room. Would recommend checking out this spot if you are looking for a romantic mansion near Philadelphia to get married at.
