Welcome to the brunch experience of HOLY SHIT, WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?…read moreFirst, abandon all expectations at the door. Service? Excellence? Basic supplies? Those are apparently premium add-ons. Coffee? No problem. Tea? Absolutely. Ketchup? Sure. Hot sauce? Of course. Oh wait. My bad. They're out of all of it. At some point I genuinely started wondering whether the restaurant had recently been looted or whether we had accidentally arrived during the final hours before foreclosure. Carbonated water? Nope. Bloody Mary? Bold of you to assume a bar should know how to make one. Mimosa? Apparently you'll need to get your ass back in the car, drive somewhere that maintains a working relationship with both fruit juice AND champagne, and try again. The bar itself appears to be partially stocked, which somehow makes it worse. It's like looking into a pantry after a hurricane. There are technically objects in there. Whether any of them can be combined into a recognizable beverage remains under investigation. And then there's the customer service. Sweet baby Jesus. The overall atmosphere feels less like brunch and more like I accidentally walked into the middle of a workplace dispute nobody bothered to warn the customers about. Nobody appears to be wearing the same uniform, or possibly any uniform at all, so identifying actual employees becomes its own interactive brunch activity. Last time we came in, a woman in a tracksuit approached us with such confidence that I genuinely had no idea whether she worked there, was another customer, or was about to ask us why we were sitting in her section of Planet Fitness. Turns out it was her first day as the hostess. Of course it was. Honestly, at this point, if someone walked out of the kitchen wearing pajama pants, carrying jumper cables, and announced they were the executive chef, I'd just nod and ask whether the ketchup had arrived yet. Nothing about the place feels coordinated. The drinks aren't coordinated. The staff isn't coordinated. The inventory isn't coordinated. I'm not entirely sure the building itself has been informed that it is currently operating as a restaurant. You don't come here for brunch. You come here for an experience. An experience that begins with, "Surely they have coffee," progresses rapidly into, "How are you out of THAT too?" and ends with you sitting in your car afterward staring silently through the windshield while your passenger whispers: "Let's go to Waffle House" Come hungry. Leave confused. And for the love of God, bring your own ketchup.

We visited on a Tuesday around 11 a.m., and it was packed. We circled around looking for a parking spot, then walked in ready to work on our laptops, as remote workers sometimes do at coffee shops. Unfortunately, the interior was underwhelming. The the plants looked like they had been left over from last Christmas. The chairs and tables looked old and felt old. Even the September menu was giving Christmas, which was very odd. It felt like they had given up for the rest of the year. The coffee was just okay and nothing memorable. After we sat down with our drinks, I asked for the Wi Fi, and that's when the barista told me they didn't have any. I'm pretty sure I laughed out loud. The service itself was good, and the baristas were very nice. After finding out there was no Wi Fi, I checked Yelp and saw the owner's response to another review explaining why the business doesn't offer it. It's 2026, almost 2027, and nearly every coffee shop has figured out how to provide Wi Fi for customers and maintain reliable systems behind the scenes. To me, it feels more like an excuse. I'm guessing many of the regulars are older locals who don't need Wi Fi and primarily come in to chat. If you're looking for somewhere to work, this is not the place.

I had the Breakfast Burrito - "The One Pounder" with eggs, bacon, sausage, onions, jalapeños, hash browns, cheddar cheese, (Pico de gallo, green onions, and salsa on the side). I declined the queso and the sour cream. This was, hands down HUGE!! Everything was distributed nicely throughout, but I have to comment on the pico. Being from Texas, I am a bit of a pico snob. Let me tell you, this was homestyle pico +100! It's the bomb!! The jalapeños were diced small, and I definitely tasted a hint of garlic in there. For non-spicy people, one of the things they avoid with jalapeños is that the pieces are too big, and the burn overrides being able to taste the flavor of the food. This was great to add flavor to each bite, without the overbearing quality of the pepper. Amazing, and great. My love had the Tenderloin Tips and Eggs. Her is her review: Eggs (fried) were wonderful, with a hint of sweetness we could not define. Southern style grits buttery and smooth, and the tenderloins seasoned wonderfully and delicious!

We hate crowds more though and some days We just didn't want to rush. We ate here multiple x because it was right in our hotel. Was the food as great as The Toasted Yolk? nope Was it good enough to start a slow morning yep!! The servings are big, the food while nothing fancy is adequate to start your day, the place is not crowded and in a tourist town that's a plus right there. My favorite was just a simple fruit plate with yogurt and granola. Don't forget the Moscato:) The grits were good too!! Hubbie got the biscuits and gravy with sausage and my son pancakes. We also ate supper there one night I got the mushroom burger sans bun , my hubbie the catfish platter, and my son the Philly cheesesteak. The waitresses were nice and worked hard. Would I come again yes! Would I make a special trip here no! If you are staying at the Palace though and don't want to traipse to places for breakfast or Supper. Give this place a chance ! But they are a bit anal about you sitting the proper way -saw them get on a guy cause he moved his chair . It's not that serious Stacked . Otherwise it's a good enough place to eat a standard, filling breakfast

I ordered the Rum Punch for $4.50, and my husband grabbed a cold beer for just $2, which made the evening feel fun right from the start. For dinner, I ordered the Redfish Elote, and it was absolutely incredible. The blackened redfish was perfectly seasoned and served with zucchini, squash, and amazing potatoes, all covered in a rich Cajun cream sauce. It was topped with tender shrimp, and every bite was out of this world. My husband went with a fully loaded cheeseburger piled high with all the toppings--classic, hearty, and exactly what he wanted. The whole vibe was exciting and tropical. Sitting outside with my Rum Punch, looking out over the Gulf with the sun shining, I felt like I was right back in the islands. Both our waitress and the hostess were fantastic--fun, vibrant, full of jokes, and genuinely welcoming. They made the experience even better. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return. I highly recommend Shaggy's in Biloxi for great food, great drinks, and great energy.

I also got a Bushwacker with two shots of banana vodka because our server upsold me on it lol, which I wasn't mad about, but it definitely didn't taste like a double. For my meal, I got the Southwest salad with the $11 Gulf shrimp add-on. The salad itself was delicious, but I got 8 tiny shrimp on a large salad. If I would've known, I would've just gone with the other shrimp option for $6. My husband got the platter with fries, fried gator, catfish, shrimp and hushpuppies. Everything was good, but idk, I just thought the breading on all the fried food was pretty bland. Our server was amazing though! I really wish I could remember his name because he was great. It was also a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy the view. Overall, the atmosphere and service were definitely better than the food. If you're looking for a tourist trap with a good view, this is a good one

To my understanding from the wonderful staff. They mentioned they opened a smaller drive-thu only in the north Gulfport area. Please check the website for details. Finally got the opportunity to check this specific place out. I was so glad I did! I did not realize that it is a perfect location for it too. Very convenient off the main road in the corner for easy access. Plenty of parking and traffic light if you are planning to go the opposite way out. As we walk in. Not only they offer plenty of parking. They of course have a drive-thru for your convenience. The front door is on corner and has back entrance as well. They have great outdoor dining area when the weather permits. I know you maybe be overwhelmed by the many great selections they offer. However, they staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Especially the regular customers! They notice our development. They are so kind to point out several options they might be interested in. We agreed to give the French Toast (topped with powdered sugar and cinnamon, with a side strawberries and bananas) and an Americano with almond milk since I was lactose intolerant. We also noticed they just brought out some fresh baked cinnamon muffins. We just had to try it! And wash it down with a matcha latte. They gave us number tag to place on our table and said they will bring it out shortly. We looked for a nice spot near the window. They mainly offer hardwood vintage tables and chairs. It is comfortable with little padding on the bottom with a hard metal back. If you are looking for something more comfortable. They offer a nice selection of couches in the corner. They brought out our order to us. Let me just say it looks great and tastes amazing! I was impressed as always! If you are ever in the area. Make this your spot if you looking for something sweet and energize your day. Free Wi-Fi available. I believe it is password protected. Please reach out to the team for assistance.
