With our daughter, we researched our options and we selected Fresta Valley. We loved how the youth were empowered to become responsible adults. The students were all comfortable interacting with adults and each other. They look you in the eye and shake your hand. There is a great focus on glorifying God and serving others. There was also a great emphasis on honesty and integrity. She attended the school throughout her high school years. It changed her life. She was thrilled to be in classes were the focus was on learning. She had wonderful teachers and wonderful friends. She often thanks us for making the sacrifice for her to attend Fresta Valley. Had my husband and I known about Fresta Valley earlier, we would have sent all our children there.

Fresta Valley Christian School was honestly really tough for me. A lot of the people there weren't…read morevery nice, which was surprising since it's supposed to be a Christian school. I expected more kindness and understanding, but instead, there was a lot of favoritism and unfairness. On top of that, there were several situations where I felt like they handled things really poorly, and that just made me hate going to school even more. The teachers didn't make it any easier either. For example, I told them a whole month in advance that I'd be gone for vacation during the last week of school, but they still said I'd get zeros on assignments I missed. That felt super unfair and like they didn't really care about what the students were going through. It was frustrating because I wanted to do well and be treated fairly, but that just didn't happen. After dealing with all of this for a year and a half, I knew I couldn't stay there anymore. It was disappointing because I really hoped for a positive and supportive environment, but it ended up being the opposite. Looking back, I wish things had been different because no one should have to go through that kind of experience at school. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.

It turned out to be a blast, too! I really liked the online training component with knowledge checks (~5 hours) in order to participate in the road course training (~10 hours over 2 days). I learned a lot and it helped prepare me for the riding component. My trainer was Kim W. and she did a great job of coaching, mentoring, guiding, and making the class fun. She was very patient and provided expert and thorough recommendations. Everyone in my training class was very cool and it was great to learn with them. They had different motorcycle experience levels and helped share their knowledge and insight. Spoler Alert: I passed the riding exam! When the course concluded, it was a bummer to get off the bike.
