There's a huge selection of just about everything, and I loved being able to take my time and sift through the treasures. It's not a perfectly polished layout, but that's part of the charm -- I'd much rather have great prices and a little digging than a fancy store with high prices. The ladies working there were lovely, funny, and helpful. They didn't rush me at all, and by the time I was ready to check out, they had already wrapped and boxed my first finds. The bargains are jaw-dropping. So glad I found this place -- I'll definitely be back with friends!

They did have some clothing with new store tags on them but no prices so I am not sure if they were trying to charge the new tag price. Sorry, not paying $49 for shorts at a Thrift store. Ojai Ave. It's the kind of place that instantly feels welcoming--you're always greeted with a smile, and even if you don't find something that day, the browsing itself feels like a small joy. That said, I always seem to find something! I still wear a cozy sweater I picked up there last year, and on my last visit, I found a pair of earrings that I absolutely love. The prices are reasonable and the items are in great condition. Since they're a consignment shop, they do accept items for resale--you get a percentage back when your item sells. If you're thinking about bringing something in, it's best to call ahead to check their process and which days they're accepting items. One more reason to love The Lennon Closet? A percentage of their sales goes toward Traumatic Brain Injury charities, making every treasure you find there even more meaningful. It's a win-win--shopping with joy, supporting a great cause, and finding pieces that feel like they were meant just for you.
