Never had to leave a negative review before. We had an empty house, everything that needed to be…read moredone was talked over initially with a manager and a quote was given of approx $ 650-880 for the job. ( in fine print they give themselves a clause that allows for much higher cost if the job isn't done in 8 hours). Regardless there was so little cleaning done by 2 workers, at the end of the first day . Their method of cleaning was senseless. Needed training on how to clean. For example: No vacuuming or sweeping all floors prior to washing them thus they tracked in dust and floor dirt on mopped floor. Kitchen & bathroom cleaned the first day , had already been cleaned prior to estate sale. There was no evidence of 16 hours of cleaning that first day!!! Spoke with the manager and voiced our dissatisfaction in the cleaning that was claimed to be done. Agreement made by them to finish the job for a max of $ 1100. After the second day...the cleaning was again very disappointing. Have had to rewash all but one floor, wipe down and dust all window ledges & baseboards , clean mirror in master bathroom and clean a kitchen refrigerator. It appears that no walls were wiped down. Will be sure to never refer this agency. The end!!!

They walked us through the process, had all of the forms on a tablet, took meticulous pictures of the damage and even found some spots where the water spread that we wouldn't have known. It took about 4 days to dry everything and all their equipment was professional and worked well. They did several checks of the moisture levels in our basement over the course of the mitigation to make sure things were drying correctly. Luckily we didn't lose any contents or have to replace the carpeting. The one problem we had was the billing. They sent us an initial bill which we misplaced and forgot about. I feel really bad about that. But we didn't receive another bill in the mail, and then three months later we received a call from them asking why we hadn't paid the bill. Luckily we were able to pay by credit card over the phone, but it's still weird that we hadn't received another paper invoice in the mail during those months. Overall, we had a great experience with SERVPRO and would highly recommend them. Maybe just pay by credit card at the beginning instead of waiting for a paper invoice in the mail.
