It has the usual High Street names, ie Dorothy Perkins, River Island, Burtons, Claires Accessories, Thorntons etc. they also ocaasionally have small stalls set out in the middle selling gifty type items. They do special events in the school holidays and to promote other keys times, ie Halloween or Christmas. It has an undercover carpark attached, which is not too expensive and is good for when it is raining. There are two coffeee shops in the middle, my favourite is Esquires. All in all, this is a good place to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon, for some retail therapy.

There were rails of clothes etc at £5, £10, £15..great I thought but they are so obviously catalogue returns or overmakes as they all seem to be tiny sizes..now I am 5ft 8 and woman shaped. There is always enough parking and even though there is suppose to be a cost for parking that you can reclaim, this is never in force whenever I have been there. I went to the store at he weekend to buy some things for my new home - bins, pillows, cutlery storage, towels... and I am happy to say they had virtually everything on the list (although some was on the pricey side and I bought elsewhere). It wasn't easy to find everything - the kitchen department is a bit haphazard, but if you hunt you'll eventually find what you're after. The main problem with the store in Welwyn Garden City is the building. There are three floors and it's a maze. Different areas are in separate small rooms so it's very difficult to find what you're looking for. I feel like a floor plan or more signs would be really helpful because it would be very easy to get lost. The website suggests there's store parking (for a fee), but even if you can't find that there are many options nearby.

At the back is paint and gardening supplies, just as you come into the store is the health and beauty section, followed by food for both humans and pets, then stationary and finally home wares. If you're a lover of fairy lights you can find them here in the winter in great abundance.

I particularly like their ranhe of pictures and their lighting, which is really inexpensive. A fair few of the pictures in my home came from this shop. It is also goos for inexpensive stocking fillers for Christmas. There is a car park at the back of the shop, which is prpbably one of the cheapest car parks in Hitchin.

It's definitely not the cheapest clothes shop out there, but you can always guarantee quality with Next, and I think you pay a fair price for what you get. Clothes that I buy easily last for the time that my child is in them and are still in good enough condition to be passed onto a second and third child. I think children, particularly boys, make a good test of the quality of clothing since they know how to wear them out quickly, and Next has definitely surpassed the quality test better than any other clothes brand my children own. While many clothes stores seem to have a continuous sale, which often appears as a ploy just to get people through the door, Next are one of the few shops to offer a genuine sale at a few select times of the year. People do go totally crazy for the Next sale though, and I personally find it a crowded nightmare, but there are definitely bargains to be had!

Yes the signs outside with the offers on can make the place look a little tacky, but ignore it and you'll find a great store with good items for only a pound. They sell items for, gardening, food & drink, beauty, pets, clothing, cleaning, health, art, dvds and cds, headphones and more. There are often offers for 2-for-1 on items too so it can be even cheaper. This is a great place to stock up on essentials such as toothpaste, mouthwash, tea and coffee, plasters. So a good place to stop before a holiday or a festival. The only thing I'd say is go to Poundland first before doing the rest of your shopping because the place gets packed and you won't be able to move about otherwise.

We played miniature golf at Mulligan's, bowled at Hollywood Bowl, hit the arcade for a couple of hours, and then had lunch at Wagamama. Honestly, it made for a perfect day. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews - maybe Stevenage just doesn't have many Yelpers. If you're in the area, it's a great spot to hang out with family and/or friends!

I looked at some laptops they had most were priced around the £299 mark and were second hand and dated in processor and spec . Tell me who in their right mind is going to purchase a laptop second hand with dated spec for £299 when they can for eg purchase a laptop brand new with better spec ram hardrive etc for £279 ? They had mountain bikes outside some had broken brakes and most were shoddy and in poor condition the sort of bikes you give £20 to £50 for at a carboot sale , but not one of these bikes was under the £199 mark it really is laughable also from the point of view one of the bikes was priced at 20% higher than it would of been brand new LOL .
