They have an excellent wine section with a specialist roaming around nearby :) As a regular I have come to know the people that work there so it makes the experience all the more enjoyable. The quick pay service and the free newspaper for myWaitrose members is an added bonus. I go shopping on my motorbike so it helps that I can pack my rucksack and saddle bags as I go rather than all at the end of my shop at the checkout. Enjoy :)

The prices are a little more expensive than e.g. Tesco, but I have always found the quality to be excellent. There isn't a massive range of some items e.g. Only half an aisle of clothes, but it is only a small store. I have found that some items which other supermarkets have discontinued are available from this Sainsbury store. This store also has a PayPoint which the other stores in Northallerton don't have.

One of my favourites is Harrogate Blue from Shepherd's Purse and I bought a large lump. The L&C wrapping showed a best by date of 26 May. When I got home on the Sunday I put the wrapped parcel in the fridge. On Monday I opened it to have some with lunch. It immediately did not smell right. Upon unwrapping the original Shepherd's Purse label had best by date of 3 April. The rind was oozing and over-ripe. I emailed Lewis and Cooper, no response. On Wednesday I emailed again with no response. DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The store also contains a meat and cheese counter, with some fantastic pates. There are usually a few nice samples on the top of this counter which are well worth a try! There is also a cafe upstairs, which I have yet to try, but if its anything like the rest of the shop, I'm sure it's fab! The only reason I have given this 4 stars instead of 5 is because everytime I enter this shop, I get a horrible buzzing in my ears. Hmmm Nevertheless, don't let that put you off! Well worth a look.

Well set out with a variety of goods it really is convenient with good opening hours, seven days a week. Stop by for your groceries including fresh fruit and vegetables, your newspapers and magazines, baby items, stationary and more. This Co-op also serves as a paypoint for topping up phones, paying bills and topping up gas and electric keys. Well worth a visit!

Although the car park is quite large, it is almost always full on busy days, such as Saturday, as it is in a prime location to park and go into town. The store does have a wide range of products although they seem to discontinue certain products randomly (usually the things that I want to buy) which causes a lot of frustration. They have a good clothing range, although I have seen bigger at other Tesco stores around the country. The staff are mostly friendly, although at times it does seem like they are just constantly filling the shelves which leaves the trolleys that they are filling from blocking the aisles. This Tesco has 4 self service counters which I like to use as you can scan and pack at your own pace.

Its open normal hours 8 am - 8pm monday to saturday and then 10am - 4pm on sundays. All your foods and drinks are stocked here and as everybody knows with all tescos their is a great choice of varied foods on offer. At the moment they have the offers of drinks so christmas celebrating doesn't have to cost too much. They also have a decent sized electrical section for your low cost kettles and toaster and other kitchen appliances. They also stock a limited range of large screen tvs so you literaly can get most things in this store. One of the downsides to tesco in newton le willows is that is doesn't have a clothing section, but i suppose you can't have everything. Parking here is great and free so long as you do not overstay. There is plenty of disabled spaces and children parking areas. Toilets in this tesco are kept very clean which is amazing as they are the only public toilets in the area whilst your out and about shopping. Staff here are lovely and helpful, always on hand to help with any queries or even with your packing of your weekly shop. They also offer a saving scheme, where you can buy £1 stamps and save on a card. For every £49 you save they give you £1 and you can redeem these on any of the stores items which is another great way to save for christmas or other occasions. Well worth a shopping trip.
