It's a pretty darn good, and compact yet well stocked M&S. It's located at ground floor level within this shopping centre. I've picked up a few bargains here from time to time in the clothing section (men, women and children are all catered for) and it's my go to shopping place when I occasionally visit this town. My chief interest is the food hall. Again while it's on the small side it's amazingly well stocked as there's always a great variety of fresh, chilled and frozen food. There's a mini bakery providing a range of breads, croissants and sweet treats. This is where I get my Eccles cakes (the wonderful M&S Eccles cake should have European protected status like champagne or parmesan cheese) and there's a very good selection of wine and beer. Only one regret they don't have a coffee bar. Oh well just as well there's an overpriced Starbucks upstairs. read more
