This is a French clothing brand that has been a favourite among moms and dads across the world for a long time. The British shop assistant who served me was lovely, warm, helpful and everything you could hope a shop assistant would be. She was genuinely interested in why I would be in a baby shop (I don't really have the word 'mother' plastered across my forehead) and in who I was shopping for. She gave me space to rustle around in the selection of babywear and then advised me on which of my choices would be most suitable. I found her to be extremely helpful, considering that shopping for baby clothes isn't one of my strong points. The baby clothes in Premaman are gorgeous! I know a lot of women get clucky just looking at them, so if you're susceptible, avoid. Premaman is a Belgian company and as such has a very chic range of clothing and accessories suitable for newborns to 10 year olds. They also do prams and strollers and other such necessities. This is a great store to find a precious outfit for your newborn niece, nephew, grandchild or other deserving youngster. Prices are around 10 euro for a shirt, 12 for a jumpsuit and 7 for a hat (this is in the newborn - 12 months section), so it won't cost you an arm and a leg either. It used to be in a small shop in the middle of Naas town but it moved to what used to be a pub. The interior in there is unreal. A huge chandelier, wooden floors, decadent wallpapering. I am a tad biased as my best mate manages the place but the clothes she has are something that you just can't get anywhere else. They go to the fashion shows in London and buy straight from the source. The girls that work there are model material themselves but thankfully they are so down to earth and only to happy to dress you in what suits. It ain't cheap that's for sure, but they do have amazing sales quite often, sometimes up to 50%+ off.

Kalu - whilst kitted out nicely is overpriced and the staff are incredibly pretentious - in fact try walking around that store in your sweats and watch the geisha girl et al turn her nose inwards and downwards as you approach the counter. I purchased a silk weave nude tightish top there - 6 weeks later a zillion little holes appeared in it - the cost of the top €115 - next time I'll wait until I am back in London again and will purchase same for half that or less.
