Tooa is so UBER conscientious about everything they sell, to the degree I am a little surprised the sales staff do not stand in an oxygen tent so as to avoid being at risk of being polluted by passing cars while on the company pay roll!!! I find it all a little nauseatingly over-the-top and nearly got a headache reading "what they are about" on their website.... the list of chemicals that are apparently in our normal clothes was endless, for instance - did you know our clothes may have Emission of Volatile components!!?? OK .... I realise that It may appear to some more sensitive souls that I don't care about the planet, but I do... I don't buy from certain stores use children to make their clothes, I do make an effort to curb my carbon footprint, I actually use the gang of recycling bins in my ginnel. My point is ..(post rant, there actually is one) ... that all the clothes have ended up looking like hessian sacks! all dyed from a BHS pastel colour chart from the early 90's! ... seriously, as much as I don't want the future generations to end up in some kind of WALL:E reality, I don't either want to be scaremongered into wearing something I would not buy for my sons stuffed Ted! Fashion should be fun - albeit reasonably responsible.

Not the best place by a long way…read more The dresses here are lovely but I don't like the way people in the street can look in and see the brides once you leave the fitting rooms. It didn't feel very private or special. We weren't offered even water to drink and I felt rushed towards the end as they obviously had more bookings. I understand this but I felt like I was getting the hard sell on the last dress, not very suitable for such a major decision. The lady scratched my shoulder with a pin and it was really painful all day afterwards. Not very impressive. The prices are high end even for wedding dresses, the two I liked were about £2,500 each. They have a range of shoes, veils and hair accessories as well as little lace shrugs and belts so you can really make your outfit individual. It's just a shame the whole experience was so rushed and painful. I won't be buying from here.

Change into the clothes that you want altered, come out and press the bell. Someone comes and joins you and makes the adjustments that you want. Then you change back into the clothes that you came in wearing and hand over your stuff for altering at the counter. They've never run late for me and I've never had cause to complains. Done trousers, and curtains. Seen then doing skirts, gowns, the lot.

Although most of the shoes are above my price range, there are a few great brands here starting at £50, so not all is lost. They often have great sales too, but you have to be quick!
