Sorry, but I feel a Meh coming on.... and it is for Tooa. But I am sure other people would applaud the ethics behind this shops wares. Tooa is so UBER conscientious about everything they sell, to the degree I am a little surprised the sales staff do not stand in an oxygen tent so as to avoid being at risk of being polluted by passing cars while on the company pay roll!!! I find it all a little nauseatingly over-the-top and nearly got a headache reading "what they are about" on their website.... the list of chemicals that are apparently in our normal clothes was endless, for instance - did you know our clothes may have Emission of Volatile components!!??
OK .... I realise that It may appear to some more sensitive souls that I don't care about the planet, but I do... I don't buy from certain stores use children to make their clothes, I do make an effort to curb my carbon footprint, I actually use the gang of recycling bins in my ginnel.
My point is ..(post rant, there actually is one) ... that all the clothes have ended up looking like hessian sacks! all dyed from a BHS pastel colour chart from the early 90's! ... seriously, as much as I don't want the future generations to end up in some kind of WALL:E reality, I don't either want to be scaremongered into wearing something I would not buy for my sons stuffed Ted! Fashion should be fun - albeit reasonably responsible. read more
