Molly Reynolds was a huge help in assisting me in purchasing a necklace for my wife's birthday…read more She was able to show me various necklaces all within the price range I was looking for. Molly was patient and worked with me on the making the right purchase. My wife loved her present. Saxon's Aberdeen is where I go to purchase jewelry and Molly is the one I lean on to help me in choosing the right piece.

I truly can't say enough good things about this establishment. My fiancé and I went in to "just…read morelook" (yeah right, ladies). We had planned on looking around, trying things on, and purchasing something online thinking it would be the cheaper option. Cara was our sales associate and was incredible from the start. We learned SO much. We were able to compare size and clarity of diamonds, find out my CORRECT ring size (we would have ordered way too big), and try on styles that i wasn't even considering. I was a little nervous going in because I'd never really shopped for expensive jewelry before.. I never felt an ounce of pressure from Cara, she made me feel so comfortable and confident in my choices. It was truly like I was just shopping with a friend who actually knew about engagement rings lol. I can't wait to go back and see her and chat about wedding bands. If you're feeling totally clueless about where to start, start at Saxon's in Aberdeen and it'll be your last stop I promise. Thanks again, Cara, you rock!

I went to Clark Jewelry & Loan on 700 S Philadelphia Blvd yesterday, and it was hands-down one of…read morethe worst business experiences I've ever had. In my experience, their offers are absolutely insulting. They offered me $396 for over $1,100 worth of melt-value sterling. I understand a business needs to make a profit, but trying to make double--if not more--off members of their own community feels disgusting and predatory. On top of that, I was made to feel less than the entire time. The older men working there looked at me like I was naïve and easy to take advantage of. It was very clear to me that their attitude was based not only on my age but also on the obvious fact that I'm not straight. The whole interaction came across as discriminatory, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Something else that really bothered me: they took several of my items out of sight to weigh and test them. Thankfully nothing was missing, but any reputable business does those steps in front of the customer, not behind closed doors. That alone was a huge red flag. The guy assisting me bluntly told me there was no negotiating on their offer--clearly just trying to maximize their profit at my expense. There was zero transparency, zero respect, and zero effort to treat me like a valued customer. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone. In my opinion, they do not treat people fairly, they do not operate professionally, and they do not deserve the trust of the community they claim to serve.

Liars! The service was absolutely disgraceful. I had an emergency today and needed to pull $3,500…read more I brought in a 25-year-old solid 14k, 116-gram Cuban link bracelet--valued well over $10,000. These clowns had the nerve to tell me it was fake, claiming it was just "heavy gold plated." What a joke. I walked out, went straight to a respected local jeweler, and they immediately tested it--confirmed it's a beautiful 14k piece. I secured the funds I needed from a reputable pawn shop and will be picking up my bracelet on Tuesday.
