They explained the different undertones of the wines, where the grapes came from, and how this particular flavor was unique from other Rieslings or Pinots. The owner of the brand of wine we were tasting was also present, so he could talk about his selection first hand. That was an added bonus! Out of the seven wines, there were three whites and four reds. The seventh wine was a $70.00 Shiraz wine. I could definitely taste the difference in quality from the other samples, which were around $17.00 per bottle. Our group of 10 fit comfortably in the store for the tasting, as well as the dozen others partaking in the event.
