On the Saturday, March 20 I went for my annual teeth cleaning, the girl at the front desk was…read morefriendly and nice as well as a nurse who was doing my X-rays, the worse cleaning you can ever imagine starts when the doctor step in. First of all, she spends 5 min on the entire check up; second of all she suggested the deep cleaning for $500 out of pocket, since state insurance covers only standard cleaning. After I said that it is way too expensive and I can't afford, I would like to get a standard cleaning, she raised her eyes at me and said fine, after that she literally brushed my teeth for 1 min, and that was it. The purpose of a professional dental cleaning is to remove the hard calculus (also called tartar) from above and just below the gum line. Only dental instruments can remove calculus. She used hand instrument to clean only my front bottom two teeth and said if I want the rest to get cleaned I need to pay $500 out of pocket. My previous dentist cleaned my teeth the way it should be and didn't try to fool me, this one must think she can footle people and don't feel bad about it. I was very disappointed; she will charge insurance for the cleaning she did not provide. One star only for the front desk and the nice nurse.
