I went in due to extreme sensitivity, and was told I needed a root canal and crown to save my tooth. This would take 2 hours (this should have been the first and biggest red flag) but being in some pain and already there, I agreed. Sure enough, he went to work on the root canal, 3d printed the "crown" in front of my eyes (2nd red flag) and continued. The crown turned out to be a big filling printed to fit into my molar and glued to it. There was no actual crown or cap. Just a glued piece of something that needed to be filed down along with other molar to keep the bite (3rd red flag). I'd never needed any major dental work in my life and did not know there was supposed to be an actual crown, hence the name. 1 year later, the sensitivity came back which turned into pain. I decided to see a different dentist to find out the root canal was improperly done and got infected over time. I needed to have the molar that was supposed to be saved removed along with the one next to it! NEVER again am I going back there. The damage was too extensive which also explains why his license has been taken away in the past.

I had a procedure done on 7/30/24 and was told that the temperature sensitivity might take several…read moreweeks to subside. However, as of last week, the pain has become unbearable. I called the office to report the extreme discomfort caused by the procedure they performed. The office manager said they could see me, but only if I paid for another visit. I understand they need to make money, but I don't see why there should be a charge just to check their own work and ensure everything was done correctly, especially when I'm experiencing pain directly related to their procedure. My insurance no longer covers this office, and considering they've already performed two deep cleans and an initial visit, I would think they would take responsibility to help a patient in pain. I repeatedly asked to speak with someone higher up than the office manager, even the doctor, but was refused each time. Overall, I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Currently I am being treated by Dr. Ahmed and I can honestly say I have never been more confident in someone's ability ever before. I have great dental needs, some rather complicated. Dr. Ahmed broke it down into phases, and explained the step by step approach she would take. The cost was disclosed up front and again broken into separate appts over time so as not to overwhelm me financially. Dr. Rybicki's solution to everything was a crown, not a filling. Only recently was he referred to as a "cosmetic dentist " or I would never have gone to him. Now I'm literally paying the price. The crowns are falling out (4 so far) & so much of the tooth was drilled away not due to decay but to make his fit, that I'm having to have oral surgery! I trusted him & now it's costing me pain, both physically & monetarily!

This is further proven by the fact that they were ADAMANT that I owed 600$ above my max payout of dental insurance. However, when I reminded them that I came in with a flyer that said $150 for a whole bunch of the stuff they had billed my insurance for and gotten WAY more than $150, suddenly, I was in the mid $300 owed. I reached out to my dental insurance and found out they are charging more than the norm and the insurance covers the norm. Most offices, will write off the difference knowing the higher price is ridiculous anyway. However, they seem to feel quite justified that the VIBE of the office, the little touches like pens, cookies for a company anniversary will be what keeps people coming back. This is true if you are only interested in working with the rich and fabulous. However, if you wish to work with regular people who have kids in college, mortgages to pay, and other economical needs then paying more for some silly gimmicks is marketing, not BETTER DENTAL CARE. I liked both Drs. I honestly only had negative experiences with the front desk staff. The dental care was not ANY better than I used to received at Family Dental Care in South Chicago. I honestly am upset at myself for not reading these reviews first. Lastly, I am SHOCKED that the office replied with someone's XRAY's that is a total HIPPA violation, or at least completely unethical at best!! Shame on you. Totally unprofessional.

I could tell when he came into the room that he loves what he does and he really cares for his patients. I needed extensive work, and he explained everything that would happen. He constantly checked on my well-being. If I needed a break he stopped immediately which built my trust with him. His assistant (I'm so sorry I forgot her name), but she was amazing too. She was careful, thorough, and helped alleviate my anxiety. I also appreciate that I never had to wait more than 5 minutes when I had an appointment. I was there a total of 3 visits. I highly recommend Dr. Singh & his assistant.
