7/5/2024 This is not…read morea review by a disgruntled patient, but about an irate doctor. After today's visit, I would advise seeking "care" elsewhere. I certainly will be. Dr S. Vemareddy practically had a meltdown, when asked to issue a return to work letter and complete a FMLA form for me. Instead, I was told "the life you're living isn't a life worth living." She further went on to state, "I'm not the doctor you need. You're in need of a psychiatrist. I will give you a referral." I was then repeatedly yelled at in exam Rm 1, and again in the waiting area. I advised her that I would no longer be requiring her so-called professional services. And that I wanted my 5 prescriptions not to be refilled by her. Instead of my $20 co-pay, I ended up paying $115.01. The temp assistant refused to resubmit the bill. I was then yelled at for allegedly throwing my credit card at her. Despite she intentionally dropped it, after having placed it in her hand. Despite my using the desk to literally hold me up. Despite having 5 badly, arthritic lumbar discs in my back. I was made to reach over the desk, retrieve the credit card, and hand it to her again. After third time of being yelled at, I advised her that I would be filing an official complaint with the medical board. She merely replied, "okay". In this instance, I will do what the doctor advises. I'd rather go without my lifesaving medications, then to seek her form of "care" of this individual ever again. This is the very reason why people do not go to the doctor's office. How this individual is even allowed to practice is disconcerting in itself. Update - 7/14/2024 Despite informing this individual she was fired as my physician, I received a certified letter from her today. In it, she stated that due to my violation of some office policy, she has determined to no longer being my physician. Nowhere in this single paragraph letter, did it state what alleged office policy I violated. Initially, I thought it was a letter of apology from her. I found this to be funnier, then Jill Biden, I mean Joe, deciding to run for office again.

While under his care, my spouse developed a terrible case of hemorrhoids that were incredibly painful. Dr. Malicay gave him a tube of ointment and told him to finish that and then come back. For three days my husband suffered before he gave up and begged me to take him to the Emergency room. The ER doctor called in a surgeon by the name of Dr. Goliath (yes, that was his real name) who said in the 15 years he'd been doing hemorrhoid surgery, he'd never seen a case as bad as my husband's. He had hemorrhoids internally and externally and when the doctor showed me, it looked like my husband had grown a second set of testicles. He also stated that he didn't know what our doctor was thinking giving my spouse a topical ointment to treat something this severe. He was taken up to surgery that evening and the hemorrhoids were surgically removed. Tricare had to call Dr. Malicay to get his approval for the surgery. He was so angry and his pride was so stung that he REFUSED to give his approval for the procedure. He knew that if he didn't approve it, Tricare would make us pay for the surgery. So to get even for taking matters into our own hands, we got stuck paying a bill for several thousand dollars. He also isn't really interested in what the patient has to say when being examined-he wants to tell YOU what is or isn't wrong with you. He has a real Napoleon complex. I was so glad when our regular doctor re- signed up for Tricare! She is a superior doctor to this man-someone I wouldn't send a dog I didn't care much for to. If you're network gives you the choice, choose some other doctor.

Things have really changed at this office over the years. It has become very difficult to actually…read moresee Dr. Tran, and the office staff takes a long time to answer the phone and can come across as pretty rude. At one point, Dr. Tran personally called my husband to cancel an appointment -- and then we were charged for that call, which was really disappointing. I've talked to the staff twice, they admit they told us no charge but unfortunately there is nothing they can do. They also tried to refer us to an out of network specialist. Luckily we looked first. In my opinion, this office was fine for routine annual physicals only. But if you need anything outside of that, it turns into a real hassle and you don't feel supported. We've been patients here for about 10 years, but we're now changing doctors because the customer service has gone downhill and it no longer feels like they truly care about their patients. Probably good with new patients but beware.

Most just want to write a Rx and be done with you. Every time I have met with him he has truly listened to me & made me feel heard & understood. This year I had a health emergency & couldn't seem to get help. Dr. Tran & team followed up with me daily for an entire week, to ensure I was being connected to the right doctor & getting the additional help I needed. I'm so grateful I found a doctor that cares!
