I think the people here have good intentions, but the place is incredibly disorganized. If you call…read moreduring business hours you have around a 1 in 3 chance of someone answering. Voicemails get called back about 1 in 5 from my experience. When my wife and I signed up, our plan had the date I was first licensed four years too late. I didn't find out for over a year that my premium had been inflated because they thought I was a newer driver. State Farm acknowledged the problem in February but I didn't get a refund check until May, and that was with me calling and emailing every couple of days to push things along. As other reviewers have stated, they send an incredible amount of junk mail. From the times I've checked, the mail seems to reiterate your policy details up to three times a week. We had an issue where the card we used for auto-pay was declined and the warning letter looked like every other junk mail, so I didn't bother to open it. They did warn me, so I suppose this was my mistake, but it seems understandable that you might miss a mail when you get so much junk from the same place. We ultimately found out when our policy was canceled a couple weeks later. As usual, no one picked up the phone when I called to fix things. This happened on a Friday and the 24/7 call center instructed me to go without insurance for the weekend and call back on Monday. I'm happily insured elsewhere now.
