As you enter, you run into Rachel (his lovely wife) who will make you comfortable and share her knowledge and information on what your plan does, and does not do. She will make sure you leave with confidence in what you are going to do. Noemi (dental hygienist) is gentle and will keep you smiling. The actual Dentist(Dr. Quesada) looks young, but do not be deceived...He has the expertise of a doctor that has been practicing for over 40 years. I have been going there for over 14 years. Yet they treat me like I have been going there since I was young. Just an FYI-My kids and wife love him and his office too. YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG. I previously went somewhere else, years ago and they were what I would call plastic Miami suggesting you do this and you do that..... just to LOOk good, rather than preventative and necessary work. I have been coming to doctor Pandy for approx 9 years. Also to be noted, all staff seem to be the same and stay, which imo speaks volumes to me..ie they all are happy where they work and respect n like each other. The preventative measures they are taking for covid are also top notch.

They charged $300 for X‑rays and added $170 for flossing half of my husband's teeth -- nothing more. Having been treated by world‑class dentists, including Dr. Lindsay Pankey Sr. & Jr., I know what ethical, skilled dentistry looks like. Towncare Dental Pinecrest is the opposite. Their priorities are financial, not clinical, and certainly not patient‑centered. I reported the incident to my insurance, though I doubt anything will change; the system protects revenue, not patients. If the ADA truly monitors practices like this, they should intervene. Dental cleaning and true dental care should be separate disciplines -- just as a pedicure is not the same as seeing a podiatrist.

Walking in, everything seemed clean and neat. I was greeted by a lovely lady in the front who already knew my name and made me feel like I was at home. I had insurance problems at the beginning which would have made me reschedule, but Coba was nice enough to bypass that and treat me anyways. I was in shock that a company cared that much about me. Zuli took care of my cleaning and X-Rays and she was the bomb. She was extremely professional, made me laugh, and was the first dentist to not make me hate dentist, if that makes any sense. The first thing you notice when you come into Dr. Camacho's practice is the good energy: the…read morepositive staff, the lighting, the bright colors against a clean, white backdrop and the upbeat music -- they all create an amazing vibe. It's like they took a cue from a trendy restaurant or boutique, that makes you feel good about being there. Let's face it, some visits to the dentist are not a cake walk. It's as if they know this from the get go, and they want to compensate for the rough moments a middle-aged mouth can encounter during a cleaning. I've been going to Dr. Camacho for almost four years, and to this day I'm just floored by how much he's invested in the equipment and materials his staff uses. I come from the days that they had to drape a lead vest over you in a separate room just to take the x-rays and you had to wait while the film developed. Not here. They just take the x-rays right on your chair with a small device, and they show up on a giant, HD monitor if front of you so you can see everything in real time along with the hygienist. After they examine the results, they proceed with the cleaning. The whole experience depends on how good you've been about brushing, flossing and your naturally given genetic predisposition. I've had better cleanings after I switched to an electric toothbrush (at their suggestion) and got better at my flossing game. Whether good or bad conditions, the hygienist works diligently to get the work done in three stages: debris removal, polishing and flossing. There is no lollipop in the end for you, but having Dr. Camacho himself come over and examine the work is both reassuring and a treat in and of itself. He has a terrific bedside manner and is always fun to speak with about any topic thanks to his relatable, easy banter. If Brickell is accessible to you, try to get into Dental World's appointment book twice a year. They make you look forward to an experience most people usually put off.

Despite this being well within the standard warranty period, the clinic refused to correct it free of charge and insisted on billing my insurance instead, which forces me to use my deductible. I requested a written statement explaining their decision, but they did not provide one. Previously, the office recommended several other fillings. After getting second opinions from other dentists, I now question whether those were really necessary, especially since the clinic routinely told me I had "new cavities" after every cleaning. I originally went there because other clinics push deep cleaning instead of regular cleaning covered by insurance, but it has become clear that they may be misleading patients in other ways. Overall, my experience has been very disappointing, and I cannot recommend this clinic. I advise caution if you are considering treatment here.
