I am an owner occupier who recently moved into a maisonette above a similar property let by Belvoir to a group of adults. I first had cause to complain about their behaviour around Christmas. When I phoned, the agent replied quick as a flash that no one else had complained (probably without even referring to the file, as she just wanted her commission). This turned out not to be true. Following the latest incident of one of the group ringing my door bell at 06.00 on a Sunday morning to accuse me of making too much noise (I had actually just got up to make a cup of tea and to sit quietly), the secretary of our residents' association came round to say she had received numerous complaints about aggressive behaviour from this tenant over the past year, including one from another resident who was left frightened to leave her home. This has now been escalated to a more senior level and I'm pleased to report that someone from Belvoir called me back to say they planned to contact the tenant concerned, It seems they are unaware the original named tenant has left the property. If the situation can be resolved to my satisfaction I will happily amend/delete this review.
